Do not go off buying this pan thinking it is non stick coated, because it isnt.What it is is a ceramic coated hunk of steel, and that is awesome!It also means you have to follow some basic guidlines if you want to be happy with it.1: Work out. This pan is heavy compared to paper thin aluminium ones.2: Lubricate. Without oil, butter, lard, etc. everything will stick.3: Place in a volcano. We need heat and lots off it. It's works best as a frying pan with high initial heat to unsticky what you are frying quickly.4: Soak and scrub. You will likely end up with sticky residue if you do not make a sauce. Soak the pan while it is still warm and dont be afraid to use your elbows while scrubbing, this pan is quite quite resilliant.5: Read the instructions. The instructions tell you what you need to do to get your meals to come out right out of this pan. Read them :)

Tbh for this price I would expect that nothing will stick to the pan surface, and with this pan I can't even fry an egg or pancake. Absolutely ridiculous.Not recommend I would say stick with the tefal even if you have to change it once a year still will be cheaper.
