As a confirmed Casio alarm clock user for most of my adult life, I purchased this this Famicozy model when I was unable to find a Casio that fitted my criteria and price range. It is sturdily made with a beautiful, clear face and no ticking sound. The second hand moves smoothly in one continuous movement. The alarm set button is at the back and there is a button on the top for the light and snooze. A great buy for the money. I would recommend and purchase again.

Excellent clock, nice to read even without glasses, and easy to set an alarm I can actually hear despite being hard of hearing. But I am actively trying to avoid Chinese goods, and was understandably upset to see "Made in China" emblazoned on it! Oh well, better luck next time.

This is a lovely little clock. It doesn't change colour, doesn't play music I don't like or want, doesn't have any gimmicks which will eventually pack up, it just shows the time in nice large numbers, with a press top that shows the time in the dark, an alarm button on the back with a side switch which is very easy to use and it's nice and plain. My only complaint is that it doesn't go "tick tock" which I like, but none of them seem to nowadays. Would highly recommend though.

For a present as a bedroom clock, and very well received. It's slightly more formal [ square corners] than the usual Casio type design [ rounded corners], which makes it seem more in place in a more formal bedroom. Otherwise very clear, usual light that comes on when snooze button on top pressed, and, of course, silent [ for someone who is kept awake by a tick-tock]. Don't know yet about durability [ another 50 years might show??] but it seems pretty solid plastic.There's an unexpected Instruction not to use rechargeable AA batteries because they have a higher voltage. The author might have something else in mind but I was under the impression that the rechargeables had a slightly lower voltage that the ordinary alkaline or zinc. Anyway the rechargeables usually have a shorter active life than the standard, which means that a clock with a low drain but on for ever would be happier with a standard. So good advice!

Bought this clock mainly for travel but use it in the bedroom too. Good size but small enough for packing. Easy to read. Light is good and reachable when in bed. No ticking noise.

This is a nice looking alarm clock which is easy to read and use. However, there is one major failing, it is not quiet. It was OK for the first couple of months, but then (as with most alarm clocks with second hands) the noise started. It is the mechanism that drives the second hand and in the night it sounds like a diesel engine ticking over. I will be looking to replace it with a clock that does not have a second hand.

As it says - big numbers, crescendo going to loud. Only problem is the alarm is a bit fiddly to turn off in the dark with the switch at the back of the clock. The button on the top is for snooze - so if I pressed that it would go off in another 10 minutes .... while my wife was still asleep! Popular!

As described and fit for purpose. Easy to set alarm. My only disappointment is I wish the dial was easier to read in the dark. More fluorescent paint on the hands would help. Good price.
