Wet the toothbrush with water, apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste, hold the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the gums, gently move the toothbrush back and forth in short strokes, brush the outer surfaces, inner surfaces, and chewing surfaces of all teeth, clean the tongue to remove bacteria, brush for at least 2 minutes twice a day, and replace the toothbrush every 3-4 months.
