I have to confess that nostalgia got to me on this one, as I normally avoid battery powered, plastic toys. But when I saw this new version of one of my favorite childhood toys, I just had to have it for my grand babies to play with at my house. These new Weebles are bigger and much cuter than the ones I grew up with, but they still stand up to their slogan "Weebles Wobble but they don't fall down." The smart house was easy to put together and it has so many cool features. It's also large enough that there's space for multiple children to play at one time. My 2 year old twin grand babies and their 1 year old baby sister all played together for about 30 minutes the first day, and they've each played with it every day since then. The kiddos love the slides and the three different catapults that launch the Weebles out of bed, from the balcony into the computer chair, and down a slide to the potty. There are also a lot of fun messages and other noises, such as flushing sounds when they land on the potty chair. One of my favorite sounds is when you spin the computer chair with a Weeble in it, you hear the cutest giggles and laughs. There's also a swing and a refrigerator that opens, but there are no sounds associated with them.There are a couple of things I wish they had done differently. First, the chimney falls off easily. The instructions do say that it is built this way intentionally to prevent little hand from getting stuck, but it's frustrating for the kiddos and annoying for me having to replace it over and over again. The other thing is the Facetime with Grandma and Grandpa feature. I absolutely love the idea, but I was expecting some dialog to go along with it. Instead, there is a ring tone, along with a message saying "It's for You!" and then nothing. It just goes right into a different topic. The kiddos don't seem to notice, but it is a little disappointing for me. Other than that, this is a big hit with the kiddos and I'm looking forward to adding more Weebles in the future.

Even my 7 YO daughter & 4 YO son wanted to play with this when they saw it. This has been a favorite for a toddler since we opened it. It’s easy to operate for a 2 YO and allows for older siblings to also enjoy playing with the younger sibling and still have fun.
