One steel pick, chunky tone, grip may vary
The main pick that you would probably be paying for is the single steel pick. The steel pick is the size of a standard pick, but is as thick as two medium picks stacked on top of each other. From what I can notice, the tone is warm and chunky. I have also noticed that this pick does tend to slip more when playing chord heavy songs, but for the most part it doesn't slip much when playing anything else. As this guitar pick is made of steel, it does magnetize to some guitar pickups, so some picking adjustments may be necessary. As for the 4 plastic picks, they are surprisingly good. They have a very subtle curve to them giving them fantastic grip. Tone wise, they are nice and bright.

Nice Joe Sat picks!
I collect Satch items, and these are nice picks to add to my collection. I'm not really much of a guitar player, so I can't say how good they are to use. Joe's artwork could pass as being drawn by a small child, but I still like it! The ones that I received are two different picks that are duplicates of the same thing (two of the same twice in one package), but this isn't a big deal! I'll be ordering a Joe Sat artwork guitar strap for my Ibanez guitar soon also.

Awesome!!
Ive bought quite a few steek pics....this one's the best. It stays in your hand, you can attack from any angle and it always sounds great! It gives the guitar a commanding sound to it. The other pics are nice as well but I really bought this for the steel. Must have.

Great pick set for the Joe Satriani fan
Great pick set for the Joe Satriani fan. I specially love the Chrome Dome pick, as it brings the guitar attack to a whole new level of expression and nuance reaction. It's literally an effect!

Good picks
I got this as a gift for a secret santa and he loves them. Cheap and cool looking, but I don't know much about the quality because I didn't use them.

SERIOUSLY like the stainless pick
I really DO like the stainless pick. Sharp attack and zero flex... Perfect for string skipping mayhem.IF you are expecting some sort of "presentation" packaging...get that outta your head right now. Because it isn't. It's a bog standard "hang tag" blister pack cardstock type affair. So yeah, it's not pretty. (NOTHING like the image they show.) FWIW, the image I included is much the same as the image on the D'Addario site. They just cost less here.It also comes with 2 variations of plastic picks...for a total of 4 plastic picks. Four picks, two different images, none of which are shown in the listing. (But the same as on the D'Addario site.)All four are "medium" weight. MAYBE .88 like some of my Dunlop Tortex picks...but with MUCH more flex, but whatever. I prefer heavier/stiffer picks, that's all. Probably close to a Fender Medium 351...but I've not used a "medium" pick for years. So that's kind of a guess. So unless one is a fan of medium-ish picks...the entire reason for getting these is that featured stainless pick. That IS worth the price of admission IMO. (Obviously, if these are for a massive Satriani fan, they would also be a good buy.)I've purchased a few sets, and NONE of them have varied from what I shared. Perhaps that was a first run or some such. IDK D'Addario shows the same set on their product page. But, back to that stainless pick. I DO like it...and I can do some really creative stuff with it, especially on one of my Sustainiac equipped guitars. I can also get that Billy Gibbons quarter/peso pick vibe going. Good stuff.Yes, there are cheaper stainless picks out there...but I wanted something that wasn't craptastic: too thin and/or with sharp edges. I've seen both. I figured that D'Addario could pull this off. They did. And it's near enough to perfect in that regard. So why only four stars? To draw attention to the massive misrepresentation of the product image. It doesn't bother ME because I bought them to USE, not display. But that image COULD sway some people, and they'll likely be disappointed. It would also be nice if stiffer/thicker picks were an option for the plastic ones. As it is, I have practically no use for them.

Fun to use
I like the chrome dome pick for sure, my only issue was I thought that there were 5 of them but the black picks are plastic. Probably my fault, but if there isn't anything saying that those picks arent metal as well then you should definitely throw that out there!

Great set of picks
Excellent quality picks. The plastic ones are good, but the Chrome Dome is insane! You can get a lot of incredible sounds with this pick.
