Normann Copenhagen Washing Up Bowl/Washing Up Container with Washing Up Brush Rubber Red

I ordered this new bowl, as after 8-9 years my original bowl, was showing signs of wear and tear.However, this new bowl has arrived misshapen. It is skew - whiff!!Any ideas how to reshape it into a square? It's not sitting square in the sink.PS... As you can see it has arrived, as it is in my sink. My account says not dispatched! I contacted amazon re faulty goods. It cannot be returned, but will be refunded once it has been dispatched /received by me. It has been dispatched. It has been received. Where is the refund for my quirky bowl please amazon?

We had our kitchen re-fitted with a nice new alomost-Belfast style sink, which unfortunately had a shape that defied any washing up bowl fitting in it. This bowl, though expensive for a washing up bowl, fits perfectly adaptong to the strange contours of our new sink. Love the red colour and have treated myself to the new purple one for the utility. Not keen on the brush that comes with it smells awful.

This is my second Norman bowl - the first lasted 6 years and was only replaced because it was pale blue and developed white marks presumably from over vigorous cleaning! Expensive but worth the money give the quality and durability. Unfortunately Amazon delivered a grey bowl rather than the black ordered. It was marked as being black but I returned it and got a refund. As couldn't face going through the process with Amazon for a second time I ordered a black version (which was black and not grey) from a different supplier.

Really like the bowl looks great also. Being rubber it needs to be looked after.

I am so so delighted with this washing up bowl, firstly the size is perfect for modern sinks and I wish I had seen this site a long time ago because the quality is undeniably the best I have ever seen. I didnt realise that the wooden brush came with the bowl and that was an extra surprise for me. Why arent all washing up bowls made of rubber, no scratches on stainless steel I just love love love this product. Well done!!!!

I ordered this because I wanted a non-plastic washing up bowl in red to use in a large granite sink. Given the price I expected some instruction on keeping it cared for - such as how much heat it could be expected to take from saucepans, or whether particular cleaning agents should be avoided. It came in a box with no instructions for care, or any guarantee. I contacted Normann Copenhagen to voice my queries. The reply directed me to the website but said it was made of rubber (well yes), that it was suitable for food, & could be put in a dishwasher. Frankly for this price there should be at least a 12 month guarantee and some instructions regarding whether bleach, or other agents might affect it. I expected it to be up to the task of managing what I would normally put in such a bowl. I had never considered putting a washing up bowl in the dishwasher, nor food into a washing up bowl. It's a pleasant looking item, but I wouldn't buy it again had I known there'd be no guarantee and nothing to say what kind of substances should be avoided. The brush is too soft to have much effect on dishes and this leaves me to conclude that style seems to have taken precedence over function. As for it taking the shape of whatever is put into it - that may be the theory, but simply doesn't work. The wording on the box includes 'Things are what they are - neither more nor less!' Pretentious is the word that comes to mind for both the items and the sales pitch. And now two months later the colour is fading. the colour is fading.

Really overpriced for what it is but do love the design and what is more I have had it years - would love it in orange colour if available.
