Husband has gout and sometimes has flare-ups in his wrist, but works in construction so needed a brace. This keeps it stable to keep from twisting and he can customize the brace depending on the support he needs with the strap and inserts. Got this brand as recommended by a coworker. Worked perfectly for him.

Works as best as it's going to. Bilateral CTS, surgery done on dominant hand. Due to a series of events I couldn't get other hand sx. Over the yrs (25) my hand hand/wrist have gotten smaller due to wt. lose. And pain has gotten worse so I knew I needed to replace the splints. The fit is quite good 7" wrist. Hoping replacement and time will help again.

I've bought two of these, one at CVS and one on Amazon. The Amazon purchased brace is smaller than the one I got at CVS, though they are identical and both labeled as universal fits-all. I am a small-boned woman. It is too tight. It causes pain from pressure creases on my wrist. I leave a gap between the edges when I pull the velcro straps to fasten it, but it is still too small. It gives good protective support, thus the 3 stars; but the aluminum stiffener are not easy to bend and shape to your wrist, and if you don't get them right, they will put pressure on your thumb and cause more pressure pain. I worked with mine several days, until I got it right. It does protect my carpal tunnel thumb really well, but being cloth-glad neoprene, it smells like the inside of a mouldy gymn bag after about 3 days. I bought this second brace to wash and rotate them. They are easy to launder, well made, very protective, but not comfortable.

the most adjustable and comfortable for me, and I've tried lots for tenosynovitis of the wrist. But is R or L so make sure you get the right one. A great deal.

My PT recommended I find a Spica Support for my Carpal Tunnel in my hand. I liked that this one had the option to remove the metal plates so that it would be more comfortable to sleep in (as she had suggested). This product cut into my skin at the base of my thumb leaving a raw red area and was incredibly uncomfortable. THIS ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE and the customer service link on their website is BROKEN! They are not available on the weekends for customer service either. If I had noticed that the brace was not returnable I never would have bought it. This is a very personal item that would require a precise fit why would I take a chance that it would not fit correctly. the Velcro at the thumb is very sharp and not shielded in any way. Total waste of money!

Purchased this due to a long-running, intermittent wrist-pain as well as newly acquired tendon damage.Having purchased sleeve and wrist supports in the past from a variety of sellers, I was not expecting much. Previous purchases of so-called "top reviewed" supports were very disappointing - from irritating discomfort to a lack of any genuine support. This support claims to be a graded medical device... so I give this a chance.This was a very good decision. This support offers actual "REAL" support. The support glove is comfortable over longer periods of wear, doesn't cause any significant sweating. It works just like a plaster-cast... but better; there's no huge loss of mobility to fingers and it's machine washable (after removing the plastic splints, of course!)Previous velcro supports I've purchased tended to also fall-apart and fail after a relatively short period of use. This NeoG support however is clearly very well built and is much better quality!I'm very glad I made this purchase. Highly recommended.
