It is perfect for the occasional outdoor movie and easy to store.UPDATE 10/2020: this screen is still going strong!

I purchased this for outdoor movies and we are happy with it. We wanted something that was portable and quick/easy to set up and take down. The setup and take down is a breeze! We do anchor it down with rope and tent stakes (as shown in the picture) that we just purchased from the local hardware store for less than $10.

The screen is amazing! It is quite large, but it extends pretty high for a screen which is a plus. Feels like my own IMAX in my apartment.My only dislike is the stand locking mechanism. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but the middle support tends to turn to one side on its own, making for a bunch of tiny adjustments here and there.

I'm really impressed with this screen. Specially with quality considering the price. I bought a very expensive screen from "Elite Screen" and when they told me will take a month to arrive, then I decide to buy this Taotronics screen in the mid time. No complains at all. Small details but you can't ask for more considering the price. Conclusion: I keep it and decide to send back the expensive screen from Elite that came with multiple malfunction and wrinkles. In the second picture I compare both screens. (TaoTronics in the left, Elite Graycinema right) Colors are slightly more intense in the Elite, but again: very slightly.

I knew it was a big screen before placing the order, but i didn’t really realize how BIG it is until the package came in - the mailbox almost penetrated through the ceiling of my living room.The screen is in perfect shape, brand new and is very well packed with protective foams. Assembly is really nothing and takes no more than two minutes. I am using ViewSonic PJD7828 projector 3200 lumens for movie projection for my three kids over weekends, the image is very sharp and vivid, my kids now would stay for hours enjoying movies with this screen but i don’t need to pay for three movie tickets:). I also love the storage bag that came in the box, handy to store the screen when not in use. My only issue is the screen is huge and takes efforts to put it into the bag. All in all, i am pleased with my purchase and if you need a quality projector screen, this is for you.

Easy to set up and take down. Way bigger than expected. Was using the side of my garage to project movies and games and the difference this screen makes is incredible! Makes the colors and details pop! I used it mainly outside in my back yard with medium ambient light and it works great! Great for outdoor viewing. A must have for anyone with a projector. Highly recomend it.

Wow, this is big! Storing this when it's not in use may be hard, because it doesn't collapse, which makes sense, as you don't want to put creases in your screen. However, you'll need to consider where you're storing this before purchasing. I would recommend measuring this out before you buy. If you find the space, this is actually a pretty great projector screen. The only thing you need to pick up to make this better is sandbags to make sure this stays in place, especially if you're using this outside.

I had been given a 100" outdoor screen as a gift, but the setup was extremely flimsy, and I really wanted a durable portable 100" screen that could be used both indoors and outdoors. After considering various options offered on Amazon, I came across the  Projector Screen with Stand, TaoTronics Indoor and Outdoor Movie Screen 100 Inch Diagonal 16:9 with a Premium PVC Matte Design (Wrinkle-Free, Easy to Clean, 1.1 Gain, 160 Degree Viewing Angle) . This purchase was an EXCELLENT choice!The screen itself is very large and comes with an attached tripod (which unfolds and detaches from the screen housing to allow for setup) and a carrying bag. Within less than 5 minutes, I was able to setup the tripod, unroll the screen from its metal housing, raise the upright support to hold the screen, attach the screen to the top of the support and begin showing movies to my assembled guests. Taking the screen down, folding up the tripod and re-attaching it to the metal housing was a breeze! All items fit easily and properly into the carrying bag. Although the loaded carrying bag is a bit bulky and not lightweight, it made transporting the screen from place to place a much easier task.In my opinion, the tripod is very sturdy, and the screen itself is durable. The housing which holds the screen offers excellent protection for the screen, and the included carrying bag makes transportation of the unit easy. I am impressed with the quality and cost of this projector screen and stand and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an indoor / outdoor portable projector screen and tripod.
