I had chronic problems with kidney stones. The frequency was increasing in spite of other holistic efforts, as well as the lack of insight in our western medical society. I was having kidney stone issues several times a year for years. I've used this tea for 3 years now, and haven't had a one - -or to my understanding of what chanca piedra does -- it could be turning them into a gelatinous form and they're leaving pain free. It's been a problem off and on for me for over 30 years. Either way, no more doctor bills or wrecking my system with antibiotics. Also, have water retention problems - especially when traveling. As long as I have this lovely tea that's no longer a problem as well. I've only used the tea since I feel like it gets in my system faster than by capsules. That may or may not be true, but the tea has been a God send, so I use it daily.

It’s a very light tasting tea so I added another tea to it just for flavor. Help a great deal with the pain I was having on my right side from my liver.

Anyone else piss like a race horse while on this?! I'm on day one and I'm glad I work from home! I'm running to the el' banõ every 10 minutes! In fact....YUP, gotta go again....I'll review after a month. I am having mild kidney discomfort so I bought this since it helped my ex pass stones when he took it in pill for and I like tea. I also have a history of digestive issues including gallbladder and liver stress due to my LGS. Maybe my high protein intake has been taking its toll on my left kidney, who knows.I'll be back to update this review in a month.

This tea tastes good and I don't doubt that it helps in getting rid of kidney stones, but it is way too powdery. Just taking the top off creates a cloud of dust in your face, I'm sorry but I want to drink this not breathe it. This makes it very difficult to filter out when making the tea, i had to use a coffee filter to get all the dust out.

I had a totally unexpected benefit from drinking this tea - much stronger and healthier fingernails. A few years ago my chiropractor thought a problem in my thumb joint was calcium deposits; he recommended DMSO, which I couldn't tolerate, and when a friend told me about drinking Chanca Piedra for kidney stones, I thought it might possibly help calcium deposits (I've never had kidney or gall stones). While I didn't notice any improvement in my thumb, a few weeks after I had been drinking one pot of tea (two small mugs) 3 times a week, I noticed that my fingernails had really grown and were strong. For decades my nails are just basically weak and get ragged and have to be filed off - they never grow out. After drinking the tea they were so improved I was a little annoyed at having to file them so often to keep them short enough. The only thing that had changed in my diet was drinking this tea. To me the tea is not unpleasant, but I would not choose it just for the taste. Since I hadn't been consistently drinking the tea, I decided to start again this summer and see if I got the same results for my nails. I'm happy to confirm that I did. For three months I drank a pot of tea three times a week, and then cut back to about twice a week. My goal now is to determine the minimum amount of tea that will maintain results. And I like to think that I'm also giving my body some preventative tools for kidney and bladder health.

Improved comfort in the area of my kidney noticed within 2 or 3 days. All ongoing symptoms of discomfort which had persisted for many months disappeared completely after a week to 10 days. makes a soothing and satisfying flavorful tea that I continue drinking regularly as on-going health maintenance for my kidneys and pancreas.

I've had stomach bloating after I eat for over a year and could not find out why. After drinking this tea for about three weeks for three times a day, my stomach has finally gone down. My doctor wanted to remove my gallbladder, but I decided to give this a try. It worked! I will be keeping my gallbladder!
