Unbeatable price
This is not the first time I use these anchors but I thought I would leave a review as I finally got the experience of removing them as well. They require some experience to use effectively (finding a studless part of the wall, spreading the anchor itself and "feeling" when the arms have fully deployed. Once attached though, they feel extremely solid.Removing them is rather tricky. There are a couple of methods on YouTube and the one I used is to unscrew the bolt almost all the way and then hammering it in to straighten the anchor's arms. Then carefully prying the base of the anchor (NOT the bolt) and pull it out of the wall.Lastly, at this price (less than £2 for 10), they are amazing value. at B&Q you would be paying closer to £10. Overall I am extremely satisfied and will definitely use them again. Thanks.

Simple to Use! Even for Novice DIY. Instructions Here!
Easy to use without a special tool! I'm a novice to DIY and these were very easy to use without a bespoke attaching tool. First I got out my power drill and selected a drill bit by holding it over the top of the screw thingy making sure they looked similar size, the drill bit should be slightly smaller. I used my power drill to drill a hole into the wall which was dead easy as it was only a plaster board wall, keeping the drill straight as it went into the wall like my Dad does. Once I had a hole I used a small hammer to hammer the device into the hole. You then turn the screw and it seems like nothing is happening but behind the wall the screw is opening up the spider legs (the bit that looks like a paper lantern we made at school) which is how this anchors. When it wont screw anymore you will see the collar of the devise secures against the hole. Then screw the screw the other way and it come out. You can take it all the way if you are attaching something like a towel rail or curtain tie back (like I did) or screw it part way to make a hanger for a picture (which I also did). In 30 minutes I had repaired my towel rail, curtain tie back and hung a picture. Im so pleased with these things and wish I had bought stock of them years ago as there were many DIY jobs I should have done before. If you decide you dont want them anymore simply hammer the collar into the wall, smooth over the devise with polyfiller and paint when dry. Gone! Will buy every time now... no more falling out fixings on plaster board walls..

Plugs and screws
Very good.Don't take the screws out before you put the plug into the plaster board. Hammer it first and then take the screws out but very good
