Took my bike from being scrap, to almost new again
I have a Cervelo P2C with a popular problem where the braze-on bracket is getting soft and no longer can hold its position from a tune-up. The bike shop said that it's not repairable because it's brazed onto the carbon, so I thought that I would have to buy a totally new bike. I read somewhere that someone had the idea to buy this and put this in the bracket between the derailleur and the bracket, and it's totally fixed my problem. I can shift gears fine again. We'll see if this idea holds. I will update the review if it doesn't.Before this, I had been doing an idea that a friend had, to put sandpaper between the bracket and the mount, and that was working as well. But I prefer this over sandpaper!

This Made My Shifting Worse!
It not only didn't improve the shifting of my Red 22 front derailleur (used with a compact crank), but it made it far worse. This "wedge" pushes the rear of the derailleur too close to the chainwheels while pulling the front too far away (I was hoping that it would equal these distances out a bit). A shallower-angled version might help with my shifting issues but not this one.
