These gloves are the best on the market unless you go with their chain mail.
I've had these gloves for five months and use them daily for woodcarving. I constantly use razor-sharp knives and chisels with tremendous force to shape hardwoods. I've experienced plenty of blade slips, and were it not for these protective gloves, I would have lost a finger or nerve damage. A couple of days ago, I was using a freshly sharpened knife to make a deep cut into the handle of a wooden spoon when the wood gave way, and the knife plunged forward and into my left pointer finger. The impact was strong enough to cause me to drop the wooden spoon and wince in pain. The sharp pain I felt led me to believe I had severed my finger.I glanced at the glove and noticed no tears, not even discoloration of the glove cloth from what I figured would be my pooling blood. So I gathered my first-aid kit at the ready and slowly peeled the glove off my injured hand. The only injuries I suffered were slight bruising from the impact and an ever-so-slight cut not even worthy of mentioning. In other words, these gloves performed far better than my expectations. It's not often a product does what it says it will. Oh yes, before I forget, they are extremely comfortable. The palm of my hand measures about 4.5" at its greatest width, so I ordered the 2x. The gloves fit, well, like a glove. Also, I am able to operate my tablet and cellphone touch screens without having to remove the gloves. Lastly, will I recommend these gloves to others? I already have. Will I order more for myself? Of course.

Love 'em
So many times in my life I had wished and hoped for cut proof gloves just like these. I don't think they even existed way back when I was loading sheet metal into trucks for a living in about '82. I made it through that with just one no-biggie cut - but I was lucky, we were well trained back in those days.Fast forward to today as I was ordering fasteners for a corrugated roofing job on my tractor garage, the thought hit me again... I wonder if something more comfortable than chainmail and cheaper than a Cadillac exists for THIS job? Ta-Da! It DOES exist, and this is it!These fit VERY comfortably, They provide really good grip, They're not hot (I'm in Florida), They kinda even work a little on my cellphone, and they cost next to nuthin. I've paid more for driving gloves which protect my hands from nothing. Are they going to save my fingers from getting sliced off? I hope so. I can only trust the manufacturers rating on that because I realy don't want to test them. I will say that, although I'm not done with the job yet, I did wear them for 1 or 2 days of work so far and they aren't even scuffed yet. I ended one day with them full of dirt and sand and covered in mud and maybe some rust - I just hosed them off and threw them on the wood pile to dry and they look brand new - not crusty or stiff or degraded at all, just like new. I am definitely very hard on my work items like gloves, and I'm very particular about quality and performance, with that said, I really do like these gloves. Seriously, they are so comfortable that I WANT to put them on. I don't need to take them off to climb the ladder, to hammer, to control a screw gun or drill. I think I only took them off tp dial out on my phone and to go... well... you know.I don't write a ton of reviews, but I figured these are worth a little praise.Like many things on Amazon, I know there's a bunch of very similar gloves available, some are probably even identical, some cost more, some less, all I know about all that is these are very nice gloves. Period.

They work
They're comfortable and they work but in only a week the elastic along the wrist has started unraveling, they seem to have decent cut/ puncture resistance

I love this till I die!!!
The wearhouse I use to work at gave gloves but the gloves wear out to fast and gave heat rashes that my hands seem like they were going threw a allergy rash...Had permission to try something different from what they were given... I seen these gloves tho to be honest I went threw 5 different types of gloves till I came across these!!!!!!!•they fit perfectly (can't even tell u have them on)•they are breathable (working after 10hrs ur hand sweat hard to rip gloves off or put them back on not threse!!!!)•the material isn't a wired annoying plastic (as much as they are breathable but no harm comes to ur hands... As many times I mess up with my box cutter they have saved me .. specially when it comes to chemicals these gloves were well though of)•the grip!! (I have carpal tunnel... Arthritis... Tennis elbows ... Lifting or gripping anything over 30lbs was a stressful anxiety attack... And left a lot of pain not able to sleep ..... These gloves give back ur peace of mind)))The craps I did at work they last me 2 monthsThey are machine washable but let them hang dry or tumble on low heat...... They are ready all the time when ur ready don't even lose there shape...Been a while since I got these... But I'm working again at a wearhouse and I just order a pair for me and also my husband... 😊

Great fit, flexible, and incredibly cut-resistant!
I do a lot of meal prep that includes cutting a multitude of veggies--from the usual onions, broccoli and tomatoes to the challenges with potatoes and butternut squash. Guaranteed, if I have a knife in my hand, the blade will be drawn to my fingers like a magnet!Since getting these cut-resistant gloves, I've been smiling when I cut veggies. Whether I'm mincing garlic cloves or cutting butternut squash, those knicks and worse have healed. They're definitely worth the price!Btw, I removed the heat resistant feature from the ratings since they're not recommended for such things. They protect from cuts, not from hot pans.

Must-have for Mandoline slicer
Protect your fingers. Well worth it. My mandoline slicer is nice and sharp, the way it should be, so without the gloves I would no doubt cut myself no matter how careful I am. I like the rubber layer; it give me a good grip.

Fingers are short. NOT great fit.
The fingers are really short, even though the overall size is ok. My hands have normal proportions (look at the pictures and judge by yourself).

Great for cutting fabric
After I cut my index finger with a rotary cutter (twice!) I was gifted these gloves. They are awesome. You keep control and dexterity while protecting hands from blade slips Highly recommend for quilters!

ANSI A4 instead of A5
Gloves fits perfectly but either wrongly mislabeled on glove or item description is wrong. It is labeled A4 and A5 in description.
