Beautifully designed product. Well made and just a great design. The light is extremely bright but there is good diffusion. The stand provides for easy light placement and direction just to exactly wherever you want it.

I read a bunch of reviews before buying this, so I know people have struggled getting this light to turn on the first time they use it. Truthfully, it's not as easy as it should be, but it is possible! Your light is probably not dead! Here's how I got mine to turn on:HOW TO TURN IT ON THE FIRST TIMEThis light is split into two pieces: the lamp head, and the arm/clamp. The first time you use it, you need to plug the lamp head into the arm/clamp. Once they're connected, you'll be able to power it on. HOWEVER, it can be tricky to form an actual electric connection. They don't just click together like most products do. It took me a couple minutes to get it just right, but here's what worked:1. Insert the lamp head into the arm/clamp.2. Press the power button on the back of the clamp (one time only!)3. If the light doesn't turn on, gently press and twist the lamp head until it does. If it's powered on, it will light up once you get the connection tight enough.4. If it's still not working after a couple minutes, try pressing the power button again and repeating step #3. You could have powered the light off the last time you pressed the power button.REVIEWI love this light. It lasts 3~4 hours on one charge when I use it at full brightness. It lasts forever if it's plugged in. I usually keep it on my easel, but also clips onto my drawing board and pochade box, which I've already found to be so helpful for plein air painting and live figure drawing. Plus, it comes with a little velvety travel bag.It has a high CRI, meaning that it makes colors look nearly identical to how they would look in natural sunlight. This has already been a huge help, as I was really struggling with color matching from life when I was working with a warmer light.

This works great for me. I use it when I am out painting with groups or friends where the light isn't great. I carry a battery pack with me and if it runs low, I just hook it up to the battery pack. It is light and easy to put into my art cart.

I bought this light in February, and have used it a total of 4 times. It really isn't bright enough for a home studio, and has been replaced in that regard with a much better, bigger and stronger Neewar lightbar for the same price.The issue I have is with the companies lack of support and disdain for their customers.I figured it would be robust enough for casual travel. I kept it inside of its sleeve, and put it in another padded case when I visited a cabin for the weekend. Somewhere along the way, one of the end pieces popped off and got lost.I emailed the company asking about a replacement. I only got a response after a second query. They told me that pieces are not available. I said that was unacceptable. They strung me along for a few more days, only to tell me the same thing, after I inquired again.For something so cheaply made and relatively costly to buy, they should replace the component in grace instead of slapping their customers faces.

It is an okay lamp. I wish it had a pivot. I find it a bit cumbersome.

We have lighting in our house which changes depending on the moment of the day and the weather outside. Not a great situation for an artist. Found these lamps and all I can say is that they make the art come alive! Bought one, loved it, bought another immediately and now use two to manage even lighting and minimizing shadows on larger pieces. Can't recommend enough for anyone who needs to see the true colors of what they're creating.

its an improvement over previous version. but it doesn't adjust like the last one.

The quality is evident right out of the box. Heavy weight legs, solid feel, ease of assembly, everything about this floor lamp is impressive. The light itself is bright but soft, I think due to the large size of the diffuser. I'm happy and recommend.
