I bought this percolator because I was tired of fancy glass drip coffee makers with easy-to-break parts. After several months of owning this attractive and functional coffee percolator, I find it easy to use. One full pot makes enough coffee for my first morning cup and extra for my work thermos. If you've never used a classic percolator, be prepared for true tasting, extra strength piping hot coffee. It will take time to gauge how many tablespoons/scoops to use for your desired coffee strength. I prefer a bold taste, so I use four to five tablespoons. The pot is easy to clean and well worth the money I'm saving having to wait in line to buy coffee by the cup.

This is a very well made product. It is very pretty and a great way to make traditional coffee without the need of machine.

I hadn’t had perked coffee in years, but my very hard water kept killing my other coffee makers, so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s not as easy to use as an automatic maker, but the coffee is great.The only thing I don’t like is the lid. The hinge bends very easily. I have it back where it is close to the original alignment, but don’t expect that to last.

I actually use it to melt beeswax products in and can pour it into molds. Very well made and looks nice.

Used this weekend during a camping trip. I love percolates coffee and this did a great job! Seems very sturdy and love that the top is glass not plastic like others. For those that may have complained of leaking, it only leaked on me when I poured too much water in the pot.

Kind of shifty sense it was missing the top drip tray.

I stopped using coffee machines because you can never entirely clean the inside of the machine and it drives me crazy so i decided to give this coffee brewer a try. I wish i had done that sooner, now my coffee come out stronger and taste better. Buy it you won’t regret.
