I ordered two machines in case I did not like one of the machines. I did not end up spending a lot of dollars for this one, but it gave me some quick results in some areas but need time for the other areas. I could not understand the directions for some of the machines were difficult for me. I was surprised there are a lot of things a person may not like such as the way the rollers feel on your back & if you can sit or lay down comfortably with your machine. I also wanted to use it other places such as car, some machines were not able to connect in the car. You will see when you go shopping for these, I was lucky I got this one after also reading many reviews. I had it down to the two machines.

This massager has been faulty from the beginning. Initially, I thought it wouldn't turn on or would shut off mid-massage because of the position I had it in, so I changed positions multiple times and had the same problem. I jiggled the power cord, and sometimes it worked; other times, it didn't even turn on, or it shut off while in use. I even opened it up inside, but couldn't find anything to adjust to make it work consistently.I loved the car cord that allowed me to use it while in the car, but I can't take advantage of that feature since it won't turn on.As for when it did work, the parts that turn are plastic underneath the material cover, and I could feel the plastic as it was turning. It was a little bit hard and bumpy (uncomfortable, but not painful), especially on higher settings, but I was able to ignore that so my pain could be eased.Maybe I just got a faulty massager. I can't say don't buy it, but send it back immediately if the power button gives you ANY trouble.UPDATE: company replaced my massager and the new one works consistently so far. The customer service was very easy to work with and prompt in responding and correcting my issue.

Stopped working at 1 year

I have had this massager two days and used it both days for 15 minutes. Day 1, the intensity at the lowest level was still pretty harsh but the next day the same intensity level felt very good, so I take that as a good sign that some positive progress is already being made. I would love for the heat setting to get a little hotter but I'll bet the low heat is intentional to prevent burns. I use the unit for my upper back, shoulders and neck. Because the unit doesn't cover your entire back you need to adjust it's placement where you want it, but I lean it up against the back of a chair and it seems to stay in place without sliding down. For the price I am happy with the massager.

Such a great and portable massager. Neck and shoulders have been so sore lately and this has helped relieve pain and provide the perfect amount of pressure. Love that I can take it with me in the car on road trips that always leave me with a sore back.
