No cushion by ankles. Rubbed raw. Not good for new walker.
Such a cute boot, but there is no padding at the top, around the ankle and within minutes the boot had rubbed a red ring around her ankle. If I were to keep these on her, her ankles would be raw pretty quickly. I will be returning them. I'm usually very happy with Pediped, but these offer no support for a new walker. I am bummed, they are super cute on.

These have been great. Very sturdy so were able to wear all winter and good even if its kind of wet out with the reinforce toe. I didn't want to spend so much but it was worth it!
