Great kit
Purchased kit as a build for wife's time down the Falklands - the "Wokka" is her favourite helicopter. The kit is 1/48 scale, with great detail and clean mouldings. The build has been mentioned on various forums/groups as "a challenge", but will go together well, if plenty of preparation. Engines and interior are well detailed, with potential for "super detailing" with aftermarket parts. Decals are clean/sharp and well printed. I would advise purchasing a "canopy mask" for painting as the chinook has a lot of glass framing/detailing- this will give you clear and defined windows and top off your build.

Nice big kit. Some cockpit details.
Still in the process of building this. There's some detailing in the cockpit, but not much elsewhere. The mesh air filters for the engines are a nice touch. No figures or weapons.Update: now complete and I'm pretty happy with it. The fuselage went together well, with minimal clamping required. Lots of trial fitting is important. The fit of the cockpit glass was not great, a little bit of filler was required. Note that the colour scheme is my own - not included in the kit instructions.

Very good model
I bought this as a retirement gift for a colleague that was once is the RAF and worked in this exact model when he was a younger man. He loved it and it brought back a lot of good memories.

Amazing
An amazing build one of my most favourite projects ever. Beautiful molds, clear instructions and amazing detailing. Almost wanted to pull it apart just so I could build it again it was that good

Chinook and lots of patience.
I really like the size and detail of the model. Excellent value for money but take your time with this on! Most of the parts were extremely difficult to put together and lots of tiny adjustments being done before final glueing. Otherwise happy with the purchase.

He was very happy with the kit until he found a damaged part
Brought this for my husband for his birthday. He was very happy with the kit until he found a damaged part, it was not broken in transit but damaged when the kit was produced. We contacted the seller and Italeri with no help with replacement. My husband made the model and was pleased with the end result after he spent ages repairing the damaged part. Would have given this model 5 stars but reduced to 3 because of the lack of feedback
