It’s Hilti what do you expect?
Let’s face it the average Joe doesn’t buy Hilti tools the cost is just too high. The pro’s use Hilti for a reason it’s pretty much the best you can get but importantly not just the tool but the service behind it and that makes up a big chunk of the price tag. Looking at the driver compared to one from a certain yellow bodied manufacturer that is more a ‘prosumer’ Manufacturer now but more common and you can see Hilti has the edge with better materials and build quality overall. Yes unfortunately as is the trend now this comes as a ‘bare tool’ but keep in mind it’s not really for the odd job and more a commercial product so would be part of a tool load out picking and mixing from the available tools. The case is big and on opening yes disappointingly empty but it’s designed to stack with others for better storage. I like the fact the case has what is inside clearly shown so at a glance you can find what your looking for and the handle folds away to aid storage -it’s one of the most impressive cases I’ve seen as sad as that sounds! Not sure the reason for the unbranded cloth that came with it and I must say I was rather disappointed that the belt clip is an optional extra -especially at this price come on Hilti! As stated earlier one of the big attractions to Hilti is the warranty that includes wear and tear for up to 2 years and rapid turn around now how many others do the same? The tool has a NFC chip in it and this in conjunction with the free app does bring value to the tool allowing for easy service, tool details for inventory management and easy access to spare parts etc so again very useful in a commercial setting but not much use for ‘DIY joe’So is it a tool for you? Well if you are a pro starting out or wants the best then absolutely yes, if your DIY Joe then probably not unless you are one who insists on the absolute best as it’s going to cost the same again at least for a battery and charger making for a very high start up cost but will last the rest of your I’ll life

Just the body and an 'empty' case
What you get is just the body of the screwdriver in an 'empty' case. It's a huge case. I suppose they have given you room to put the attachments in, as and when you get them. But I can't see why you would already have them if you didn't have the body of the drill. Anyway the case is empty. The quality of the screwdriver is excellent. It's lightweight with a good ergonomic feel, as you would expect from Hilti. The case is marked with taking a fitting for screws and hex fixings.Everything else, including the fixings for the screws and the hex fixings, the charger and the battery--you need to already have or supply yourself. Oh, they include a black duster. You do get that.
