I am a quilter and I was using precut dark batik in combination with white fabric and dreading washing the quilt after it was completed. I did an internet search, found this product and it worked like a charm. No bleeding and believe me some of the fabric did release dyes. Not sure how the magic works but so glad it does!

A must have for quilters who love batiks!
All quilters know that batiks are full of extra dyes that have to be washed out so they don't ruin the rest of your quilt. Synthrapol in the washer will make sure that the dyes don't travel. I wouldn't wash new fabric or a new quilt without this stuff!

Used to prewash fabric before dyeing and after dyeing to clean fabric and remove excess dye. Worked very well.
