I started this after reading that DHA can help with cognitive decline during perimenopause and menopause. I was already taking some DHA, with an EPA dominant blend (also by Nordic Naturals)--like the regular Omega 3 supplement--and doubted I'd notice much difference with this DHA-dominant blend. Wow I was wrong. It's like brain juice. Even though it isn't much higher mg-wise than what I was getting from 4 of the regular Omega 3s, the formula feels more intense. I am able to focus for long periods of time again, very important to my work as a writer and professor, and my anxiety has gone down. I have a very sensitive system and am able to take 2 without problems.

I've used this product for years. It's the only DHA supplement that actually makes my hair grow. Definitely sticking with it and it's good ingredients.

The brain is composed of DHA. SHA is an omega 3 fatty acid. The omega 3 taken from pants tastes bad. The added strawberry falling makes the supplement tolerable.

Finally a fish oil that doesn't upset my stomach!!!! Well continue to take this!

Don't know why they make a point to say it is strawberry flavored when they are soft gels. It's my fault for not reading correctly and thought they were soft chews. You'll be swallowing these whole, so not for children who do not yet swallow pills.

I took these throughout my pregnancy and have continued to take them postpartum! The strawberry flavoring keeps the nasty fishy taste away. I love the different quantity options Amazon has so I can make sure to get the best deal! I love and trust the Nordic Naturals brand

**Update: Amazon replaced the fishy bottle with a new one. New one (from same lot number) is great and back to the excellent quality I’ve enjoyed the past couple years! Back to strawberry burps instead of fishy burps.**I have been taking these for 2 years through pregnancies and nursing, and have loved that there was no fishy taste or smell...and only strawberry flavored burps. BUT this most recent bottle purchased, the pills came out smelling fishy and my burps ugh fishy. What happened? I didn’t see clumping like others had noted about broken capsules, but I don’t think I can take any more of these pills. It’s so gross. I literally went from great pills from my old bottle on Monday night to fishy pills from the new bottle on Tuesday night. So disappointed. Going to try and get an exchange and hope it was just the one bottle that’s an issue.

This brand repeatedly appeared in reputable lists ranking supplements, so I gave them a try. I started taking these when I first found out I was pregnant, and continued throughout my breastfeeding journey, because of the benefits DHA can have for a developing baby. They are not fishy or gross at all, which I was very thankful for, especially during the queasiness of pregnancy. I also appreciate that they aren’t massive, like many other gel supplements, so they are relatively easy to swallow.
