this passport cover is listed as genuine leather, however, i have my doubts. pu leather has a distinct odor and this cover smells exactly like it. no genuine leather i ever had smells like this. this might be REAL pu leather. pu leather should never be advertised as leather and should have the prefix faux in front of it. this should be done in bold letters and at the top of the ad not in a tiny description at the bottom which no one reads. this is my belief but im no expert and would hope an expert checks it out.

Nice piece. Good quality. Mine did not have any of the stitching issues noted by others. Fits perfectly in the rear pocket of a pair of Wrangler jeans. A bit tight for the front pocket, but that is expected. Overall, very happy with this item.
