Great building kit
My 8-year old grandson loved this kit. He was able to follow instructions on his own. He became quite adept at using the tools, particularly the multi-faceted wrench tool. It is far more challenging than just snapping a Lego structure together because of the use of tools.

It was easy to construct and tear back down to build another model
I bought this for my 11 yr old nephew and he loved it! It was easy to construct and tear back down to build another model. Durable parts that are well constructed. This is not meant for someone younger but at the right age there is so much that can be taught with this building kit. I can't say enough about it.

It says for 8+ but my 8 year old who is mechanically inclined had trouble figuring it out... but great product and quality.

Motor Broke after about 5 minutes of use
The motor broke very quickly after my son assembled it. It was about 5 minutes into use. He was very upset as this was a birthday gift. I'm giving this 3 stars only because after calling customer service, they sent a replacement kit. It wasn't the Rally Racer, because it was out of stock...it was a Ferrari. At least they stand by their products and warranties.

No wheels needed. It doesn't move!
I'm highly unpleased. I bought this for my son and the motor in the car NEVER worked. It didn't roll or move at all. It would just turn on and make a sound like grinding wheels or gears turning without movement. Do not recommend.
