Great quality, Simple to use, Affordable!
Have bought and used several of these kits, they are the best! Ingredients are great quality, come individually packaged ready to mix and the instructions provided make it easy for anyone to understand and feel comfortable mixing their own substrate for the first time. The results from this substrate mix have been MASSIVE 🙌 🍄Comparatively, the price is great too which definitely doesn’t hurt!I’ll keep using OlympusMyco substrate and will for sure be trying more of their products in the future!

Contaminated substrate ?
The instructions call for 1 gallon of water and the substrate was almost mud. Way too wet and almost impossible to dehydrate without risking contamination. So I asked for a replacement. Amazon wanted the mud back so I packaged it up and returned it. ( I also just got an email saying I DIDN'T return it and had to contact Amazon today to clear it up) The replacement substrate arrived quickly and I reduced the water to 3 qts and 1 cup which was perfect field capacity and used distilled water that I boiled at 10 PSI in my pressure cooker for 10 minutes. I have North Spore boomer bins and used this substrate on two. I used 8qts of perfectly colonized grain jars in each monotub, pure white with zero contamination and 16 days later threw it all away due to Trich and some kind of pink stuff. I did much better buying my own coco coir, gypsum, and vermiculite.
