Amazing value, great quality
This thing is just awesome. For the fit, finish, and quality, you cannot beat the price. And despite the low price, the knife is great. It came out sharp, deploys smoothly and if you push the axis lock in the knife just drops shut easily. Plus it has pattern welding in the blade, which places this knife in the $100-150 range for comparable cheaper knives of this category.I can't speak to the carbon fiber though since I have little experience with the material, considering as usually carbon fiber scaled knives are at least 80+, even for Chinese brands. Still, the material is so light and it should be strong at least in a particular direction of pressure. Still, for a suburban person like me, I'm mostly using these to open boxes and packages, so even light plastic scales would be suitable for my use case. All in all, I really love this knife and it has a place in my primary rotation. I loved it so much I got its sister knife, one in titanium scales which are a bit heavier, but I find myself going back to the carbon fiber one because it is lighter in the pockets. At this price I think I'll regret not getting another if I lose it and I end up having to pay a higher price. ...just ONE more...right..?

Awesome Bugout 535-3 Carbon Fiber Clone
The media could not be loaded. Benchmade Bugout 535-3 Carbon Fiber CPM-S90V blade is pictured next to the Bugout CarbonFiber / Damascus style blade. The blade is sharp and perfectly centered. Omega springs are perfect for tension. The fit and finish is perfect. The aluminum anodizing is extremely colorful. The two knives photographed are a real Benchmade Bugout 535-3 Carbon Fiber Scales S90V Blade @ $297.00 vs the nicely done clone @ $55.00. The vendor does not mention Benchmade. The two knives are for comparison. Regarding the price point and good quality, I recommend the clone and will purchase more from the vendor. I support all companies that produce a quality product. Excellent customer service, next day Amazon shipping. Good packaging. No knife adjustments required for the clone. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you!

First one delivered had rock-lock and Amazon sent replacement that is SOLID. Love this knife.....
This knife comes with tiny ball bearing gaskets. The smallest I've seen. Would love to buy more for back up. Seems like same or SLIGHTLY thicker that a .0200 benchmake bronze washerT. he damascus is a several layer thick san mai style. Came sharp and sharpens well. Don't use for anything hardcore but seems like it would hold up to almost anything short of "abuse". The carbon fiber on scales is real and is fine. It seems to be 3k weave sandwiched with a cheaper weave below perhaps? Either way its real. The cap is 3k you can tell in the weaving zig zagging like if you look at a benchmade scale profile from the side of handle. I like the knife a lot. I would buy again especially with Amazon backing the product up. The second one they sent is a keeper. I sent the first one back so hope I dont get CHARGED for it because I cant see a way to confirm Amazon got the one I returned quickly back??

Great bug out clone.
What a beauty. Definitely is real Damascus steel the spine of the blade is a good indicator to know if a particular blade of Damascus is real or not. Very lightweight due to the real carbon fiber handle. Blade wasn't very sharp of out the box I won't give it a bad review because of that but I'm sure most would. I'll just sharpen it my desired sharpness myself. Chinese knives are getting better by the year.

Butter face
Looks pretty. Blade is very low quality and it looked like the liner was solid on the listing, it's not. CF is well done. Mechanism is gritty. I'm not sure it's worth the price, but it will do for a very light duty piece. There is no play but I really doubt it's true damascus. Feels like aluminum San Mai over hard-ish steel. My file grabs hard on the edge. The omega springs are rusty and very tight. It does look pretty though, and it's pointy for packaging tape. It is quite dull. From the outside definite worth it. Blade, maybe a sub par $20-30. It is light and the outside appearance is great. Down the spine of the blade you can see two different metals. I don't expect the blade to keep up to anything more than packages with frequent sharpening. Hope I'm wrong. Definitely not worth the price imo.

Great knock off! After a good cleaning the action is smooth and the blade is actually decent. For the price, its a great buy.
