I replace the igniter at least once each season. The first time, I replaced it twice in one winter. I think the placement in the Harmon stove results in overheating. This was more affordable than a branded replacement from my local shop.

You're always skeptical when purchasing something that's $150 less than the factory part, but this one worked out for me. Lasted about 2 weeks and just quit working. Pulled it out and tested with ohm meter and it was an open circuit. Something inside broke. Contacted Direct Ignitor and they were super nice and replaced it right away under warranty. Good company to deal with. Girl on phone was extremely nice and helpful!!

fit good worked good for exactly one year got replacement that one lasted one year almost to date but for price i could change it for every year for 10 and still not have payed what harman stove wants for one

Our old gave out, very difficult to get one where we live. We use our pellet stove 7-8 months of the year,so we were so happy to find on amazon. Arrived on schedule, packaged well.PS, store here finally got it, many weeks later for a lot more$. So thank you!

I have a 2005 model year Harman Accentra 2 Pellet Stove. This igniter fit in the existing cradle. Stove lights fast now. Was getting 5 flashes on trouble light, checked igniter, it was bad. Amazing that this is the first replacement required in 14 years! Took about 40 minutes to replace and was fairly easy using video found online.UPDATE and reduced to 2 stars. This ignitor lasted 13 months. Going back to Harman made.UPDATE #2 - The Harmon brand ignitor made by Tempco cost 5 times more than the $19.99 units sold on Amazon and other sites, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT. These issues were all resolved when I replaced the $20 igniter; extended times to light, flames coming from behind flame guide, creosote build up, dirty glass every day.Now my stove lights quickly, burns cleaner, and glass stays clean. No more cheap ignitors for me.

I have a Harman XXV and it fit and works perfectly. Make sure you obtain instructions on replacement before digging into it, because if you don't do it right, it will end up costing a bit. The manufacturer doesn't want the consumer to replace these so you won't find it on the Harman website. You have to go online to obtain instructions and photos from others who have traveled this path before. I wasn't able to find a YouTube video for this model but found one for another Harman which was close enough to this model, which was helpful. Prepare to get dirty.

The igniter has worked every time it has been called to thus far, and the pellets seem to ignite faster than any previous brand of igniter I have used.
