Positively Perfect African American 14.5IN Doll - Kiara

I got this to work with a preschool student. She needed a doll that looked like her. The joy on her face was worth it. This one is beautiful! We practiced so many things while doing this doll’s hair and nails. It is soft and easy to pack for a traveling therapist. It’s not easy to brush her hair without pulling it too much and risking damage, but the small barrettes work well. Her hair is really soft and easy to style in that way.

Perhaps a shade or 2 darker than the pic which is fine by me as she looks just like my god daughter. I recommend all people of color to get dolls for their daughters that resemble them as it has been proven to boost their self confidence. The hair is also similar to her hair texture however I don’t think the brush that comes with it will do it any justice 😂 most likely will just tangle & frizz lol but that’s ok. It’s worth noting that it’s a soft body doll with hard arms, feet & head. Perfect for a toddler. No shoes unfortunately but my god daughter is known for yanking off her own so I doubt she’ll care lol

It's a lovely doll. It's so hard to find good Black doll for little girls nowadays. However the arm broke after two months of play. My daughter is 2 and did not play particularly rough with it. She was so distraught and brought it to me to fix but I had to get rid of it cause I couldn't glue the arm back to the cotton part. She kept looking everywhere for it for days. I did not replace it because I wasn't sure the same thing wouldn't happen again.

She loves it! With hair that feels a lot closer to natural than most dolls, and is poofy and kinky at the same time, Kiara is just like our Rosie.

She’s a cute baby. My daughter likes her. Her skin is darker than it looks in the picture which doesn’t matter I was just hoping for lighter skin so my daughter could have a “look alike” doll. Her eyes are a pretty honey brown color. Her body is soft and her hair is precious.

It is sadly too hard find a black baby doll with natural hair. We got this doll for our 2-year-old foster daughter and it was an automatic hit. I love that she has a soft body and the clothes do not come off. It has held up to constant use and abuse.

This doll is so cute! I love her curly afro hair and brown skin. Unfortunately, after only having her for a week my daughter drew on her face and pulled her leg off.

My 2 yr. old toddler granddaughter likes the doll. I believe it's because they look a lot alike 😊. She combs her hair, pats her back, talks to her and pretends to feed her. So happy that I chose this doll for her.
