Great markers!
Every year, my daughter and grandkids do a 4th of July project when we visit. We’ve done tie-dye shirts several times, and one year tried tie-dye tote bags (that one was a bust — we ended up finishing them all!). This year, since the kids are older and no longer want to do the tie-dye themselves (they still love wearing them… just want us to make them), we decided to try a pillowcase project instead.I researched pillowcases for quality and affordability since we were making eight — enough for the adults too. Reviews (lifesavers!) led me to the Amazon Basics 400 Thread Count Cotton Pillow Case, Standard, 30" L x 20" W, White. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MUDQUN9?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1)When it came time to find fabric markers, I turned to user reviews — again— and finally chose these. I’m so glad I did! They were wonderful to work with. The tips held up beautifully through 8 pillowcases with large designs, and the color stayed strong in the pens (with the one exception of beige running out sooner — not a deal breaker!). I liked them so much that I ordered a second set along with two more sets of pillowcases so I could make some for my other grandchildren back home. The pillowcases washed perfectly with no noticeable shrinkage. The markers gave smooth, even coverage with no skipping or stuttering, and the colors stayed vibrant on the fabric. There was no bleeding or running while drawing. After several washes, the designs are still just as bright as the day we made them. My daughter even tossed them in with the regular sheets on “bedding wash day” without thinking about it — no color transfer, no smearing, just perfect results. (She did use cold water, for those wondering.)Highly recommend!

Beautiful and lots of markers for such a good price!
These fabric markers are beautiful! I was pleasantly surprised when we got them. I wasn't expecting much since there were so many for such a great price. The colors are bright and worked well on our fabric bows for cheer camp. The campers had fun making their bows and the markers lasted through the event. We are excited to use them again for our next bow making activity!

Do a good job
Like all the others who state that the colors match the cap, NO, Positive Do NOT match. I have bought at least 6 boxes over time and have yet to find one that matches color to lid. One I have that I am seriously tossing has a brown top and the color is black, another has light blue and the color is a mix of blue/green. Pretty, but not a light blue.On this brand, they are nice, not hard to use, so far seem to keep a good ink flow. Wash off my fairly easy when I miss getting the lid on right and paint my hand instead, lol.Would I recommend them? Yes, I have had only one type that I despise and those are the type you have to shake up. A should rotor cuff replacement is painful from having to shake the marker. Plenty of the ones that don't need that action, so I will stay with them.

Dries quickly and doesn't bleed or fade.
Work as intended. Bright colors, do not fade when washed (at least the first time). Easy to use ans didn't bleed when drawing on cotton.

Divine
Ah, the Zenacolor 40 Fabric Markers Set — or as I now refer to it, The Magical Arsenal of Colourful Mayhem.I must say, I approached these markers with the sort of cautious optimism usually reserved for mystery meat at a school cafeteria. But lo! What a revelation they turned out to be! Non-toxic, indelible, and bursting with hues so vibrant, even my old Aunt Petunia (not known for her joie de vivre) would crack a smile. As for my charges — the miniature artists-in-residence — they took to these like ducks to water. The four-year-old immediately declared herself “Queen of Tie-Dye” (despite merely scribbling on an old pillowcase), while the seven-year-old composed an entire comic strip across a t-shirt, starring a heroic guinea pig named Colin. And the ten-year-old? She’s now in negotiations to launch her own fashion label. Naturally, I expect royalties. The pens glide like silk across fabric, no odd smells, no fuss — and no soul-crushing smears (a rare and welcome treat). Honestly, they’ve turned rainy afternoons into wearable art workshops. We’ve adorned shirts, tote bags, and even a disused sock that’s now a dragon. As you do.At $11.95, it’s practically a steal. I bought one set, then promptly ordered another — just in case inspiration strikes during nap time.Five stars and a standing ovation from both myself and the pint-sized creative board of directors. Bravo, Zenacolor. Bravo.

Some markers dried up
Some of the fabric colored pens were mostly dried up. I haven’t checked all colors yet but several of the ones I planned to use were barely noticeable and seemed dried up. Hardly any color was dispensed.
