ARLO BLINDS Faux Wood Blinds, 2" Cordless Horizontal Blinds with Crown Valance, 48" W x 60" H, White

Originally, the first one I got had a crease in the housing at the top, but I thought it was the back so no worries. I was wrong and had it almost up when I realized my error! Had to return it with everything that came with it. 1st make sure you have the front part unmarked or creased. You can easily tell if you look for the wand attachment area on the left which is a small metal insertion point ON THE FRONT of the blind casing. I missed that the first time. 2nd it’s fairly easy to install, kinda makes sense when you study the parts. I did not find the directions very helpful - but they’re a starting point!Couple things: price it right! Let me tell you I was looking at a blind of this size custom costing me $300+. So for the very same look (they look like painted real wood), I got this for $85. That’s a deal!Company was great about the return (no problems) AND the replacement came and it was flawless!I know they say to go a half an inch smaller but I did not. MINE was RIGHT ON THE EDGE I was 1/8” larger - than the 1/2” requirement. I took the risk - it was tight but what I did was got FLATTER SCREW HEADS! See my pics Old vs New. I also drilled the holes into my winding surround area with a slighter narrower drill bit but I made sure it was more than deep enough so I didn’t strip the screw heads.It went in perfectly - it was tight but went in with a little encouragement. I wanted total blackout so this was important for me.Needless to say, I love these blinds and am going to order 2 more in this size and several smaller ones as I just love the look from the outside and inside!UPDATE: I’ve bought 6 blinds so far and gonna order 3 more! I love these, they’re so easy for me to install now I’ve done so many!!

I had the standard Venetian blinds in my room but it was quite old as it came with the house. Between the age and my cat, I needed a replacement. These blinds are a significantly better option. Not only does it feel sturdy, it was easy to install. I had two windows to install. Took me a little over an hour to do the two windows inside mount by myself (never removed/installed blinds before so it felt like there was a bit of a learning curve).Overall, the blinds look great. I like it the thickness of the blinds as it blocks far more light than my prior plastic Venetian blinds. Now, there's no cord for my cat to play with and damage!

This blind is very nice and easy to install. I did mine on inside window mount. Fits beautifullyI give 5 stars because of quality and look of blind for the priceThat being said I was able to put it up because I’ve installed many blinds over the years. The directions that came with the blind were terrible. The diagram was small and blurry. The company could do much better with that. And no directions on how to shorten which I needPlease redo your instructions

My gripe about these is you can't shorten them without compromising the up/down easement. If there is a way to shorten them, I couldn't find it in the instructions. This keeps them from closing all the way and now cold air is getting in so eventually, I will have to plastic wrap the window and tape these closed.Not the blinds fault I have a cold house. Price was the same as the box stores.Very easy to install.

So I bought 28 for my house that was renovated and was happy with the installation. I got all of them up in 2.5 hours. Ordering so many I expected I would need to send couple back with defects. Out of that large quantity I only had one with a defect. The block the light and love the cordless.

Just like the pictures, it's thick and sturdy once installed. I have a German Shepherd that loves to be nosy and look out the window, hes broken so many blinds but not this one!!

Easy to install, as pictured. High quality equivalent or better to what we have purchased at home improvement stores in the past.

Anybody who has had kittens KNOWS what they can do. Take a look at what they did to my bathroom blinds. Now the neighbors can see me pee! I stuck a board in the window and quickly ordered these blinds. Now I gave 4 stars because these instructions were not written for a woman. I didn't know what to do with all of those little parts so like a woman, I simply didn't use them. This is a picture of before and after, and a picture of all the leftover parts.
