Are Zen Pet Nail Clippers as good as the claims made?I finally bought a pair for my Cookerpoo who has always suffered the greatest “nail clipper fear” and yes they worked. This time he didn’t seem to realise that I’d actually trimmed his nails, he was totally chilled! I have now bought 2 more pairs of graduating sizes for the other dogs and won’t be changing brand any time soon.They do cut quietly, quickly and without injury, just follow the instructions but do download/ print the size sheet before buying. My dogs are now so relaxed when I trim their nails, a relief for me and them. Product doesn't work. Too small to clip the nail of a miniature pinscher. Difficultly arranging a return too.

I have different sized dogs including Chihuahuas, toy poodles and min schnauzers. I purchased one pair to try, loved them, so I purchased a full set (except the very largest which i don;t need) Yes it was expensive to purchase the full set, but they are worth their weight in gold in my opinion, I can choose exactly the right size for each of my dogs, and I havn't nipped a quick at all since using these. The dogs are not as nervous with these as they are with normal clippers, and they are so quick and easy, and safe. I don;t use them for puppies, just adults as they are a bit bulky for small pups. they are perfect, a very good buy and recommended.

Best clippers I have ever used. It's also the first time I have ever used animal clippers. I saw a video and it looked so w=easy to do with no pain to the animal I thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I purchased these clippers they are so easy to use and my kitten had no idea what I was doing. I'm happy my furniture is saved and that I was able to give my kitten a trim with no pain to him what so ever. I highly recommend the Zen Clipper to anyone with any pet.

these clippers are so easy to use. You simply can't cut to deep. I'm not stressed = cats are not stressed either. Wish I'd discovered them years ago

we ordered these after reading the other reviews. but our findings were not anything like the others. for a start off we took our time sort out what size so we downloaded a copy from Zen. We then tried looked at it and ordered two sizes down from the top,as we have two Rough Collies the youngest one 8 months old. When they came we tried them on our puppy and her claw would not go into them.properly, then on trying them we found the amount of pressure was so that you could not operate them ,so we had to sent them back, if you are thinking of buying take your time as we thought we had to get the right size .

I love these nail trimmers. They are very quiet so my cat doesn't get scared, very sharp so they are very easy to use and I now have peace of mind that I won't be cutting the quick by mistake. I'm no longer afraid to cut the nails plus I'm saving money by doing it myself. I wasn't sure what size I needed so I bought the small ones (yellow) and they work great. Thank you Zen for a great product.

These nail trimmers make grooming sessions with my fur baby sooooooooo much better! Like 1000% better. For realz.Turnip and I both used to be so scared and stressed out when it was time to cut the kitty's nails! It was pretty dang awful. I was always so worried I would clip into the quick of her nailbed and hurt her, as my princess poopmaker kitty is really small and a really squiggly wiggly little crybaby.First trimming session with these was shockingly fast and stress-free. I was able to swoop in and clip each nail properly on the first try, without needing to wrap her up and restrain her in a towel while she cried, like usual. The very first clip was probably the shortest amount of time I've ever taken to do a clip - her nail just slid in like butter, to exactly the right depth, then the cut was as clean and clear as sparkling springtime mountain glacier water dappled in sunlight and angel dust. :)However, the nail trimmers are kinda ugly tbh. I wish they were shaped like a shark or pterodactyl or something so they fit in better with my home decor theme. Or at least a purple glitter version to match Turnip's collar. Ahhh, I suppose kitty and I could have a crafting party to jazzify it up a bit. I'll have to catch her attention first though, as she barely noticed that these nail clippers exist, even when I was using them on her!YAY ugly cat nail clippers, I love you! 😻

Finally I don't have to worry about cutting into by baby's quick. These are great for my small hands, but people with bigger hands may have trouble holding them, as the handle is not very long at all.In my case, it works great. I have 2 wiggly Shih Tzu puppies, and these make cutting their nails easy and fast. I got the small and medium sizes based on the chart that came with each package. You can request one free of charge of the manufacturer's website.I'd highly recommend it for professional as well as DIY groomers. Select the right size, and you'll be done in a blink, no pain, no anxiety. I can't speak of their durability, since I've only had them for a few weeks, and I don't know if and where to have them sharpened, but I would certainly buy another pair if need be.
