The title of this review isn’t a mistake! These things work great to stir up espresso grounds to remove clumps. They’ve significantly improved my extractions by reducing channeling and made the flavor more consistent.Just embed a few of these in a wide cork or a 3D printed grip and you’ve got a cheap, homemade ground distribution tool for your portafilter! Stir the grounds with this until all clumps are removed, then tamp and you’re good to go!

I bought these things to create a WDT for stirring espresso grounds and breaking up clumps in a portafilter basket. I drilled tiny holes in a wine cork and stuck these things in. It works fantastically, and months later is still holding up just fine. Highly recommended for this purpose.

I needed these needles to construct a WDT for my espresso. These needles were nicely packaged and arrived in perfect shape. Really good construction - perfectly straight and very uniform (and sharp at the tip!) Overall, a good deal if you just need a few needles delivered quickly that are of great quality.

Be careful you don't stick yourself. I accidentally stuck myself in the thumb while cleaning my hot end and it is now infected. They re very sharp but this is a good tool for cleaning the heat break and a .4mm nozzle.

Recieved the needles in a plastic tube with silicone(?) cap. All needles measure 105.26 mm ± 0.06 mm. The curly part is 30 mm and the thin part is 75 mm.

Purchased for a homemade 3D printed WDT tool and they worked out great!
