I love this lens
I have a proper camera setup for macro, but this is so much easier and I can carry it with me on walks. Just remember you have to get the correct fittings for your mobile phone model.

NOT WHAT I ORDERED
As always Neewer products are well made and packaged. Sadly the item in the box was not what I ordered but a 105mm macro lens. Someone had stuck the wrong bar code label on the side of the box.

Impossible to adapt.
The media could not be loaded. In the description is said that the item is suitable to iPhone 13 mini, but is not.I have the feeling this item has been re sales with missing parts. There wasn’t any manual included. The case presents a white stain mark. The lens itself is in great condition. But I believe there are some missing parts and it’s impossible to adapt the lens to the device.

Love this
Brilliant. Has a nice depth of field and good quality image. I’ve used it for some lovely b-roll shots

Reasonable glass but unwieldy to use.
Sometimes you just need or want better lens options on your phone. Mostly I'm not a huge fan of using my phone for proper photographs, I have a camera and lenses for that, but in this modern day, people tend to use their phones for anything other than an actual phone and hence, addons like this are available.Firstly you'll need a suitable case/cage and something that allows you to attach a 17mm threaded lens - otherwise you won't be able to use this (yes it says it in the description but best to clarify). In the box you get a nicely packaged lens in its own case - it has rubberised caps on both ends. I'd prefer something more screwy and solid that rubbery but that's personal preference, plus if they were hard plastic and screwed on, easier to remove. The lens itself is very well constructed, albeit smaller than traditional camera lenses, but then you can't really compare given it's going to be bolted to a phone.Attaching it to the camera mount isn't difficult so the performance is where it's at - and this is where it's..... a bit hit/miss.Positives - it zoomed in nicely and focussed on a box I had lurking (as you can see of the barcode in the pictures). So using it as a zoom option was fine, even under not overly bright lighting.Negatives - using the lens in 1x, 2x and 5x wasn't an issue, but as soon as I chose 0.5x then you'll notice that the view is obstructed as it chose a different lens. Now you might not use 0.5x much, but it's a bit of a mare to have to unscrew the lens should you wish to. Again - it might not be an issue for some people, but it was annoying.Second negative - using it handheld isn't great - the balance is horrid because the lens is pretty heavy as it's a metal construction. It also sticks out a fair bit once on, so not something you'd leave on the end of your phone either (yes, I know you wouldn't and neither would I, but it is quite chunky and it is PRETTY heavy too).Don't get me wrong - if you don't mind using a cage (which I don't like, as the Neewer one has no protection on the back of the phone) and you're using it on a tripod or something else to compensate for the weight, then this is not a bad lens. It's not comparable to my actual camera lenses, but it is also nowhere near their cost either. But it isn't as comfortable to use either compared to one of my cameras and that's the biggest issue to me and that's all I can really say.

Great quality lens
Nice addition to smartphone photography, works well with the overall Neewer smartphone rigs
