Speaker works perfectly in a small venue
No complaints here. Just one suggestion, download the app to bring down the echo. Otherwise it works better with two speakers that are synced together.

Great Boat Anchor
Had mine for three years and kept it in a climate controlled workshop. Used it primarily to listen to audio books. One day it started repeatably turning on and off by itself. Next day it was completely unresponsive. Unfortunately, JBL has a two-year warranty. It's a shame because it is probably just a circuit board that died.

ATROCIOUS BATTERY LIFE
The one time i would like to discourage you.Do not get this item. Go to their competition. Not that I don’t like JBL, I do. But they failed big on this. So why stay clear of these partyboxes , because this…I’m an audiophile, owned many Bluetooth Speakers in my life, small to big. This one claims 12 hours of battery life in their advertising. Try 2 hours. The lights make it look pretty and though there’s a shut off feature, it does nothing to save the battery but a few minutes. I’d personally much prefer no flashy, but will last enough party hours 3, 4, 5 without having to go find an outlet. Can’t take the party out of your house. How lame is that?Seriously… it’s madly disappointing. And how how would you feel if your hosting friends and in the middle of a good poppin mood your speaker dies. Yeah, kills the vibe right quick.So I say, consider your wants, then choose wisely.
