Worked perfect!
I'm using this to thin acrylic paint to the consistency of a wash for gundam models. It worked perfectly for me, even if that isn't necessarily what it's intended for. I did also thin airbrush paint, intended for an airbrush, and it also worked perfectly for that. I know you can make your own thinner in bigger batches, but for a part-time hobbyist it's so much easier to just buy a small bottle of ready-to-use thinner.

Good for bringing older paints back to usable condition, or thinning paint for certain techniques
Micro-Mark makes good crafting products, and I'm very happy with this thinner for airbrush paints. I've used it to thin down some fresh paint in order to change the color, and to try certain techniques. I was also able to use it with some older paint that had thickened up and bring it back to a useable condition. It worked well combining with the paint.

Husband approved
My husband likes to do a lot of airbrush painting and is always down to try something new so I ordered this thinner for him and had him try it out. It's a good thinner with a strong smell. It combines well with the paints and doesn't cause any problems whatsoever. He likes the finish it gives better than the other brands he's been using so I've already had to order him more of this one.

Big bottle of acrylic airbrush paint thinner.
This is the second paint additive I've tried from Micro Mark. I've used a lot of their tools in the past and liked their quality so I was very interested in trying this airbrush thinner when it was available to me.It comes in the same bottle with a label that is nearly identical to their brush on thinner. Just as with their brush-on thinner the label instructs you to shake it well. Visually it doesn't look like it needs to be shaken, but I did it anyway as it really can't hurt. Upon opening it, I was unable to detect a difference in smell between them. It has a similar flow and beading characteristic when I put a drop on my palate. In my tests using it to thin acrylic airbrush paints it does an excellent job thinning them to a good usable consistency without causing the pigments and acrylic binder to separate. As this thinner looks and smells nearly identical to their brush-on thinner I had to compare them. I tried both in some acrylic miniature paints and I couldn't tell the difference. I also tried both with some acrylic airbrush paints and I also couldn't tell the difference. I'm fairly certain they are both the same product.Alright so final thoughts, their Micro-Mark branded thinners work well for their intended purpose. I just wish they didn't feel the need to bottle the same product with slightly different labels to make people think they are two different products. Fortunately they are the same price and they aren't charging more for one than the other. It's a slight issue but not enough to mark them off a star for it. Just realize you probably don't need both as they are likely the same and the perform the same.

Cap leak.
The thinner works fine. The cap has leaked from the start. It was even leaking when I received it

Good quality thinner in a great bottle!
As an avid maker, hobbyist and model enthusiast, I recently tried out the thinner in my painting projects, and I must say, I'm impressed. This 8oz bottle packs a punch when it comes to thinning my paint for airbrushing. It effortlessly blends with my acrylic paints, creating a smooth consistency that flows flawlessly through my airbrush, resulting in consistent coverage and vibrant colors on my painting projects. Plus, a little goes a long way, so this bottle lasts quite a while. Overall, the thinner has become a go to, making painting sessions a breeze. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their airbrushing game.

Good airbrush thinner
I think it would be hard to not like most airbrush thinners, though in all fairness I have only used Vallejo, Iwata, and now MicroMark.MicroMark has been a supplier for teh hobby scene for as long as I can remember, and I've been using their stuff since the late '80s at least. So when I saw this thinner I decided to try it out. With Vallejo I tend to get a bit of a satin finish when I use a greater ratio of thinner to acrylic paint (when I am going for a wash, for example). I don't get that with Iwata or this MicroMark thinner.Otherwise using this thinner is identical (for me) as to teh other two. It is definitely better priced, so I will likely be purchaseing more of these going forward.
