This is excellent guide & everyone learning to play at any age should buy this before moving on. This seems to be good but still working my way through it. So far I'm impressed, its at a nice pace easy to follow & deals with the basics such as tuning, sitting positions etc which I like as well as how to play a guitar & read music notes (which is a bonus ). Can not recommend this enough.. Arrived the next day

I was surprised to find the dvd was still in the cellophane rapper as a used product l thought this was odd. On playing the dvd it keep referring to the book which on the cover it refers to a 13 page book.

A marvellous purchase. Even before viewing the DVD, I was able to learn several new chords from the included chord chart. The content of the DVD is easy to understand. Important items are shown by the inclusion of icons throughout the programme.John explains things with the use of three guitars - Steel stringed acoustic,.Nylon stringed classic and solid body electric.Well now I'm A440 and Eddie Ate Dynamite Good Bye Eddie.

I am an absolute beginner to guitar. I find the product to be very helpful. You really don't need much musical knowledge to start playing along with the instructions in the video. It's well structured and paced. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it to beginners.

I have several of this type of guitar tutor, I regard this one to be the best of its type by far. I am currently searching for more titles by this instructor. Highly recommended.

I play chords on my 6 string, 12 string, electric, semi acoustic. Yep, 4 lovely guitars.So I got this thinking hmm.. it'll teach me the tabs too. It does, and very nicely. Also shows you how to tune the guitar and gives you an idea of all the different techniques you could use. It's REALLY handy and I got it on here yonks ago for 5 quid. Not a bad price really!Trust me, I'd pay a tenner easy for this. Not a bad addition at all, even teaches you a few wee songs and has a tiny booklet included. Give it a go! (,")

This is a very basic course. It demonstrates a few techniques without going into great detail, so don't expect any great insight into how to master the more difficult aspects. The booklet included is poor, difficult to read because of the small text. I would think there are far better starter courses, so avoid this one.
