Get ready to key in the VIN every time you use it !!!!
8/13/25 UPDATE...attempted to use this to control the electronic parking brake on a 2020 Subaru Outback. The feature appears in the diagnostics but throws an error message and the most recent model year shown is 2019 - The answer to my problem according to the world's worst customer service - I should go and buy and Android phone - it works much better with Android.!!!!!Useless. Horrible clunky interface - couldn't possibly be more unintuitive. Not sure what it does on a brand new vehicle but on my 01 Ranger and 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee - no way to save the VIN and it doesn't scan. Same with my wife's 2020 Subaru. So each time you use it you have to key in the complete VIN. Support claims that "generally" after a few uses it will recognize the VIN after you key a few digits and populate it for you. That didn't work for me on any of the vehicles after multiple attempts. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Great scanner
This unit works great. For the price it gives you features you would have to pay hundreds more in a full size scanner. I would recommend this unit to anyone who needs a full feature unit. CAUTION YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO USE THIS UNIT IT'S NOT FOR EVERYONE YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING !!!

Paid for itself in a month.
Check engine light came on, and my mechanic charged $60 to read the codes (dozens) and wipe them. They were probably from previous work not getting cleared. Mechanic said it might be such and such, drive and see if it comes back on. Well, this on sale was cheaper than the garage reading it, so I bought it and used it when the light came back on, with ONE code for something very common. So it's already paid for itself!
