Sturdy and beautiful

I love the look and it holds plenty of knives well. But the base makes my thick butcher knives a hair too tall to slide into the drawer. Also if you have heavy handles knives they will kind of tilt downward. The knife holder itself is great and beautiful. You don’t have to keep a knife block out on the counter so it looks nicer and it’s safer if you have little ones.

This block even hold big cleavers!

I’m so happy with this purchase! This block fit all my knives with some room to spare. Even the ones I never use (LOL). I have some pretty long knives, the longest blade is 10.5”, and they all fit. This block would accommodate longer knives too. As you can see in the second picture some of the slots are open ended so the knives can extend past if needed. It even holds my cleaver AKA the knife I never use. This is a very nice, sturdy chunk of wood that will last a lifetime.

Great knife holder

Since we moved our knives have been thrown in a drawer and getting stuck in the seam and I’ve even cut myself trying to get them unstuck. This is perfect solution. Was worried about height but it fits perfectly in our drawer. We have an eclectic mix of knives - the thin bladed knife rocks a little because the blade is lighter but they all fit great (even the long bizarre handled bread knife fits by hanging over a little). I wish we had bought it sooner!Don’t know why there aren’t many reviews, probably because it doesn’t have the annoying card asking people to review it - so I was hesitant, but it’s great and comes well packaged.

Very nice.

Very nice. Looks great. Fits in the drawer. Only thing that could be better is the top slots could be a bit deeper for a 6 inch blade.
