The much-needed Volume Up button on the original remote for my Bose Wave II had failed. Well, this new remote's Volume Up button does indeed work, and so between the new and old remotes, I once again have full control of my radio. However, most users will probably find this remote WORTHLESS because the following buttons DO NOT WORK: Sleep, CD, Play mode, Wake to, ALARM ON/OFF, and ALARM TIME. Imagine a remote for clock radio that won't let you access the alarm functions! Although by luck it satisfied a specific need for me, it probably won't be what you want.

Works great. You have to make sure it is the right model - I inherited a wrong remote and all it did is smile and show it registered with a light, but did nothing. This remote does what the original does, and the Bose responds every time. Great value for the low price.
