If I could give 0 I would.Used for 5mins before being forced to stop from the toxic fumes this creates.Unlike cutting with a hit wire which compared to this is relatively clean, straight cut and tidy, the hot knife butchers the piece you are cutting.It is a lot thicker than wire or other knives I've used, but this material isn't cut through, it disappears into toxic fumes - you should not use this inside unless you don't value your health.Maybe it said in the description - I didn't see it if so - it has a European plug on it, luckily I had an adapter.It's now in a bin somewhere on the way to a landfill - waste of time and money, and have just got a special saw that is doing a perfect job of cutting the foam & poly.
