24 Gorgeous Precut Pale Yellow Lemon Cut Out Style Edible Wafer Paper Butterfly Cake Toppers Decorations

Purchased these to finish off a silver wedding lemon cake. I used buttercream on the top and sides of the cake, a silver diamante deep cake ribbon and a silver cake board. The butterflies were the finishing touch. They gave the cake a really light, airy look .... so pretty. The tips I would give are these ... allow yourself plenty of time as pressing out the butterflies is a bit fiddly, don't pipe buttercream where you propose sticking the butterflies until just before you decorate it or the butterflies won't stick, do fold the wings up so that the butterflies look as though they have just flown onto your cake and if you break any in half accidentally just stick the two halves together onto the cake in flight mode. Recommended if you are patient and prepared to spend time to achieve the result you want.

These are very pretty but not very easy to use. So thin some of them just tore, however you can hide this when attaching to cake. They are quite a pale colour so didn’t show up very well on yellow icing
