Best Pour Over Pre-Made I've Tried Yet
This coffee is very flavorful. It doesn't taste old. It's actually on par with grinding up fresh whole beans for the drip coffeemaker at home, and definitely better than instant coffee flakes. I've been frustrated on many other pour over kits because they only make 2-6 oz of coffee that is actually good tasting and flavorful and not watered down tasting, but this one actually makes a 8-12oz cup which is what I call a real cup of coffee.I typically use these to make cafe au laits, while my husband typically drinks it black, and we're both very satisfied with the the flavor. Even with a 50% milk drink, you still get intense coffee flavor. I just wish these were a little cheaper. I don't use them daily for the cost reason. But these are fabulous as an occasional treat or to travel with, so much better than a lot of other coffee options I usually have on the road.

Like Keurig
I bought this coffee to try as I am trying to decrease my environmental footprint and stop using my Keurig. As far as flavor goes, it’s like a keurig coffee. So for Keurig standards, it hit my goal - however I am really a strong coffee/espresso kind of person.Having said that, it is very practical for when we are traveling, all you need is hot water. The set up worked great in my cup and the flaps are strong and hold really well. For every day coffee, I’ll continue to do pour over, and using my Nespresso; eventually I would like to upgrade for a real espresso machine that won’t need coffee pods.

Great taste but be gentle!
We were going on the AT, and wanted some good coffee that was also light weight. After reading a few reviews and websites I picked the Kuju dark which came recommended. The flavor and taste is GREAT- bold, robust and fresh; it tasted like a cup of coffee you could find in a shop. My only small criticism is the opening of the pouch. You have to tear the top filter to open the pouch to pour your hot water. You need to take your time and be gentle- if you go to fast and hard, you can tear the side seem which will then have your grounds spill in your cup and then ruin your coffee. Now that I understand this, I will definitely be purchasing again for future hikes and camping experiences! Highly recommended!

Great alternative when you can’t brew your own, but comes at a cost.
Bottom line up front: I’m a fan and I’ll be ordering this again.I’ve been looking for something like this forever. In Asia Starbucks offers a similar single cup pourover prouduct called Origami but I haven’t been able to find it in the US. I’ve tried everyhing from instant coffee to Starbucks Via but nothing really comes close to the real thing. I resigned myself to bringing a small french press with me when I travel, until I found Kuju.Pros: freshness, flavor, design, volume per cupoThe quality and freshness are great and the design makes it very easy to use. I actually prefer the design of Kuju over the Starbucks Oragami pour over for two reasons. The first is the way it sits on top of the glass. It fits my wide or narrow mouth glasses equally well and fits snugly onto the glass. The second is that the filter pouch is sealed with a perferated tear-off edge. The Starbucks design kind of pops open all at once so I ended up spilling grounds while trying to set up the filter to sit on top of the glass.I really enjoy the taste. I ordered a medium roast and it was well balanced and fit the taste profile. The instructions say to use 8 oz per pour. I’m a big coffee drinker and 8 oz doesn’t cut it for me. Due to the cost per cup, I’ve been reluctant to use multiple packages and just started using more water per pour. I like strong coffee and the boldness of the coffee was sufficient to deliver enough taste despite me using more than the recommended amount of water per cup.Cons: costAt just over $2 per cup, it’s a little more than I preferred to spend. Granted, I’m not using this daily and it’s really for when I don’t have my regular options. That said, I like to drink about 2 cups per day and I cringe a little knowing how much it’s costing me. Again, exception not the norm.

Great coffee just too expensive
Amazing coffee but, per cup, too expensive. Easy to use and convenient for camping and such but not for daily use

Filter = Good, Coffee = Bad
When I first saw this product I thought this was such a cool idea! I mean yes! It’s perfect for camping or even just to have around in your car! However, when I received the package, my amazon box itself was fine but the box the coffee came in was broken and beat up. I thought, whatever not a huge deal I still got the package. But then I looked at the coffee roast date and and smelled the coffee and it was like whoever shipped the coffee, picked an old box and threw it in the box for me. The coffee itself was no good! Kinda disappointed as I had high hopes for this product! I really liked the filter concept and it worked well, just disappointed with the coffee freshness and the packaging!

Not amazing
Not fantastic tasting.Concept is sound, convenient. When considering something like this for a camping/backpacking trip I appreciate the design a lot. But....it really isn't wonderful in taste. Not the light roast anyway. Especially for the price, not worth it. Starbucks via tastes better, brighter. Unfortunately I'll stick to my own coffee and pour over filter. Sorry guys, I wanted to like it but the flavour isn't up to par, certainly not for the price.
