Part look right but no

Part looks good but be careful with 2012. It dishes take this updated version. Crazy because I had to take old one to mini dealer anti their part was wrong too . Had to match up physically to old one .

Failed quickly

Fits well. Thought it would be an upgrade but it doesn’t work right. It ended up setting faults for coolant temperature. Swapped out with a OEM plastic unit due to this one failing

Doesn’t seem to work.

I just got this installed last week, the gasket is amazing, best ever seen. The aluminum housing is slick. Well made. The two sensors sent with the unit, likely garbage. The original housing is molded. I cannot find a replacement thermostat sensor for this removable one. However I can swap the coolant temp sensor and see if it works. So far.. I’m only impressed with looks
