Does the job
I got this to bring into the office. I call it "my big boy lunchbox" because that's most of what I bring in. It looks good enough to carry around an office building without jumping out as unworthy (like my all-black sneakers). It seems rugged enough to outlast the last two brief cases I got, both of which broke their clasps before I'd used them two years. The zipper doesn't take much of a beating and seems as though it will go for many more years despite daily use. The interior pockets aren't as firm as with a traditional briefcase and the papers inside will flop out on you if you keep too much in the top. The velcro latch works well, however. All in all, a good replacement for a more expensive case if your use doesn't require impressing anyone.

Excellent "medium" capacity Laptop Bag
This bag exactly fits my needs of being not too thin and not too bulky. I have a 15.6 inch Dell laptop that securely sits in the back compartment along with the charging cable in elasticized webbing, a good design feature. The front compartment allows me ample room for several notebooks, personal books and papers. Again, I was not looking for a rolling briefcase and this bag fits the bill perfectly.There are several extra pockets for miscellaneous storage and a sewn band on the back of the bag for threading luggage handles through. The top handles have Velcro on them to keep them together, a nice touch, along with a standard shoulder strap. The strap is nothing special, but sits well across the chest.Finally, I am happy with the subdued logo embroidered on the front. It keeps the toned down look of the bag going.
