Is this Honda model noisy compared to average petrol mowers? Thanks.

Compared to other mowers it's 30 % less noisy (source: Honda.de, German page). Blade, mower deck and motor itself are perfectly matched so that side-noises are reduced. The loudness is db(A) 94.

Can I use it without the grassbox to leave the cuttings on the lawn.

You could do but I have not tried it. This machine does not have a side vent for blowing grass cuttings out if you don't use the grass box. Other mowers have this facility. When the grass box gets full on this machine it drops the cuttings out of the machine but they tend to be in clumps not spread evenly.

Where can I get a replacement drive belt for this mower??

Didn't know it had a drive belt. Thought rotating shaft comes straight out of engine, but I haven't taken it apart so not 100% sure about that. My previous Honda mower which lasted over 16 years did not have a drive belt.
