The last pH meter you’ll ever need… take care of it and it will take care of you
So I’ve owned tons of pH meters over the last 15-20 years and they for the most part they have all used the same glass bulb technology, the only difference is the processor chips have gotten better on some if not most of todays pH meters. With that being said even with some of todays pH meters some have better and faster chips compared to others, ive owned tons of blue lab meters especially the meters with long cords with replaceable pH and ec/tds-ppm probes after long use they all start to wander or they bounce back and forth at some point they just stop working break and that can be an expensive especially if you rely on the your pH meters to make money. I ended up buying an OHAUS pH meter with double digit resolution and ive had nothing but problems with it especially when i spent alot of money for an inaccurate meter that takes forever to reach a stable reading time is money and wasting time waiting for a reading when you could be moving onto the next project or job can wind up costing you Quite a bit since the tine starts to add. Well thats where the UIUZMAR 4-1 meter comes into play handy, i normally take my time after receiving a product and have learned everything about a product and have used a product enough to the point where i feel confident and comfortable in leaving a detailed review that i would be willing to share with family and friends. The UIUZMAR 4 in 1 pH/EC/PPM/TEMP meter really shines in all aspects of build quality, ease of use and calibration, fast and stable readings with a clear and crisp back lit screen and the battery life last quite a while after long term use. I like that the box in comes in can be used for long term storage and keeping the meter clean and away from falling or breaking. The meter comes with its own pH calibration powders that dont require special or expensive lab grade deionized water like the old days, the newer formula works perfectly fine with everyday easy to find at any grocery store distilled water and as long as you use 250ml of distilled water you will get exact readings just make sure you either take a picture, write down or at the very least save the sachets that the powder comes in to keep the temperature to pH list available because pH can be different depending on the temperature of the liquid you are measuring and you do not want to get a false or misleading reading because of temperature. All pH does this its not the meter and for the most part you just have to be ready for it there are some super expensive lab grade pH meters that will calculate the temp to pH difference but if you’re not willing to shell out hundreds of dollars then just keep an eye out and be prepared for most of what we plan on using this meter like growing, pool or beer the temp change wont be that huge and it wont be a detrimental issue. This reader has a blue probe that reads and stabilizes so fast to the point that i have never had a pH meter so accurate and so fast that it blows my mind you do have to calibrate the pH meter after receiving it and you should by storage solution as well as ppm calibration solution(the calibration solution wont be needed for a very longtime but you should have it incase you feel its off its normal value) the ec/tds-ppm is also fast and very accurate out of the box. Keeping the probe wet with storage solution after receiving it will rehydrate and keep your meter accurate for a long time to come and you wont have to replace the probe as fast, you should not own a pH meter without having storage solution on hand, alot of issues i see ppl having with accuracy or wandering or inaccurate readings all stem from not using storage solution a very small amount goes a very long way and its very inexpensive and will save you tons of headaches and misleading readings that can cost you lots of money. This UIUZMAR pH meter comes with a manual that is very simple to read and straight to the point, it tells you how to calibrate the meter and if for some reason you have an issue comprehending the Chinese to English translation which is done pretty well for what it is they also included pictures to show you exactly how to calibrate it. Its a must that you calibrate the pH meter right after receiving it using the supplied powder starting with the pH7.00 then pH4.00 and if you plan on pH very basic solution or if you’re like me a perfectionist last but not least pH10.01 its very simple the meter will do most of the work unlike old pH meters that you have to turn screws to set the ph to the correct value although they work they are old and slow and break easy and the probes cant be replaced… yes they are inexpensive and they are very usable most ppl dont prepare the probe and meter after receiving them so most ppl have a horrible time using them just like this pH meter and any other meter you buy it has to be placed in storage solution for an hour minimum the second you receive and after the hour is up you calibrate the pH meter in the sequence stated above you must do this with any pH you purchase or use. Some companies send the probe dry and some send it in storage solution and sometimes the storage solution leaks and you then have to use the storage solution like stated earlier. The UIUZMAR 4 in 1 meter beats my most expensive meter in price to performance, speed, stability and accuracy no other meter I’ve purchased or used has worked this good and this quick and thats a testament to how far we have come in making high quality inexpensive chips and processors, companies can now offer a high quality inexpensive pH meter that rivals very expensive ones at the price of a throw away meter and still preform or outperform expensive meters… it blows my mind how far technology hasCome and how anything we need is just a click away. I wasnt sure at first that this meter was going to be any good but i went with my guy and the fact that it would arrive the same day as well as had good ratings from other ppl who know how to properly use a pH meter and im glad decided to pull the trigger on this purchase, i now recommend this to all my buddies who grow and all who have bought or used my meter have been astonished when i tell them i paid $23 for this meter you really cant beat this meter and if you have used expensive meters and are tired of spending so much money on replacement probes or replacing whole meters then look no further i give you my word that if you follow the directions and maintenance of this meter you will not be disappointed. If you receive a pH meter that has white crystalline powder in a new device i promise that you did not receive a used or returned device, that is just the storage solution that ended up leaking during warehouse storage or shipping and handling, all you have to do wash it off used distilled water to clean it off you can use tap water to rinse the unit in between uses but clean distilled water is much better. follow brand new pH meter procedure for an hour calibrate pH only and then use.

Great for aquariums
Working great. Matched ph of my other probe as well. Now my water changes will be spot on. Also does TDS, and conductivity.

Better than most at this price.
I've been using this tester for about 8 months now and it has held it's calibration well. It's never been off by more than .1 ph every time I calibrate it. I'm using this with a Rise Garden and it works well. I've tried a few other meters in this price range and this one has worked the best.

Works great
This meter was easy to set up, is very functional, a great value, the design is nice. I have only used it once so far, so I won't be able to give an accurate account on the battery life, or it's durability. It seems like it is well built and should last a long time. Only time will tell...

Good quality meter!
Not sure how I ever got along without this tool for my aquaculture hobby. The design is good and seems to be good quality. No issues reading the screen and the readings show up pretty quickly. After the calibration I tested it in distilled water and got a nuetral ph, so it seems to work

Easy to use and well made
Easy to use, works great. Thanks

Mileage can vary
I won't be buying this one again. From the start TDS was accurate, but the Ph was way off. Even after rehydration of the tip (it came dry) this probe would drift badly after calibration.

It's accurate trust me I own several of these devices.
I'll keep it short, (yeah right)! but as far as these pens go I am a hardcore stickler when it comes to these pens and use several different types and brands that I have meticulously calibrated. When I ph my water I use two or three different pens and compare them for consistency and accuracy. After passing my rigorous calibration process I make my decision to keep or return it if it doesn't work perfectly. This pen has a large backlit display and is accurate to .01. Pens accurate to .1 are worthless because of the broad range in the reading. You can't determine it's accuracy. I first dipped this pen in a ph solution of 7.00 and it read 6.89. Not bad for right out of the box. I then calibrated using my very meticulous 3 part solution process of 7.00, 4.00, and 10.01. The pen now reads the solutions to a T. Calibration successful. I use this with other pen when checking p.h. and this pen reads within .01 which is almost perfect. So if said other pen reads 6.27, this pen will read 6.26 to 6.28 which is as close as your ever going to get! I've lost several plants due to stunting and nutrient deficiency because my ph was way off. I can't stress enough how important this is to the health of your plants. I have four other $25-$30 pens and this is my favorite along with one other that is similar. Make sure it has a large backlit display, and is accurate to .01 or in my opinion is a waste of time and money. Use a 3 part solution for calibration. Some pens use different values. All my pens calibrate to 7,4, and 10.01. I only buy ones with these values. Try to use solution not the powder you mix with water, if you can. Keep the pen cap in electrode storage solution even if your pen doesn't have any included. Just cut a small piece of sponge and put it in the bottom of the cap and wet it with solution. You can used distilled water if you don't have any. Buy a 12 dollar calibration solution kit with storage solution. Practice calibrating Al least every two weeks to keep your instruments in check.
