What Color Is a Kiss?

My 2 and a half year old LO loves this book. It's a book about a girl who loves to paint and wonders what color a kiss is. She explores many colors and finds her own answer from a kiss from her mom. Illustration is pretty and many familiar things with colors are shown with some emotions (e.g., red-anger). My LO doesn't like some pages (for example, black), and I think it scares her so we just skip those pages when we read. Reading this book always ends with my kiss on my LO with full of love.

I didn't think my boys would like the book, but they surprised me. They love the illustrations and I like the different interpretations of the various colors.

My daughter is 2.5 and loves this book! She loves it so much, she has a lot of the pages memorized and will read it to herself. It has helped her learn her colors and we even get to talk about feelings and color association (red often represents anger, blue often represents sadness.) The book always ends with me giving her a big kiss from Mommy. Super cute book!

It's now my daughter's favorite book! Illustrations are so cute and the storyline is funny. I received the book in good condition and in the time expected.

I got this book from the library but had to buy at the end. It's so pretty and teaches really well the colors!

L'ho comprato per lavoro, sto facendo un progetto di accostamento linguistico alla scuola dell'infanzia, gruppo misto di bambini dai 3 ai 5 anni. I miei bambini conoscevano già la storia in italiano quindi forse hanno avuto meno difficoltà ad apprenderla in inglese. Contiene tanti vocaboli adatti soprattutto per la prima infanzia, un po' lunga da leggere in inglese ma io l'ho adattata accorciandola, leggendo solo le frasi più semplici mantenendo il senso della storia e ai bimbi è piaciuta molto!!!

Il libro è bello e semplice e poetico!Ma soprattutto appassiona i bimbi!
