Very light yet very durable case!
Very light and does the job great! I am on my 2nd Gator case, only reason I had to buy the 2nd is because I decided to downsize to a smaller box for portability. Great case, great construction, light and VERY durable.

Decent "affordable" case
This case should work for what I will be using it for which is mostly a mostly garage band type of setting with occasional light to medium road usage. If I were a regularly gigging musician or sound tech and packed this around often or crammed into a cargo area with stuff thrown over it...this isn't the case I would want. It isn't terribly rigid or reinforced. I do like the latches and at the time of my purchase it is reasonably priced considering what molded rack cases go for. If I had it to do over, I would order one that isn't so deep, this one is almost twice as deep as what I require but that is simply due to the particular items I have mounted in it and not realizing my needs at the time of purchase. One thing I didn't expect was the sheer size of this case. It is about the size of a full-size piece of luggage but fatter. This is a decent case, but I don't think I would consider it truly road worthy if "stress tested".

A great rack case at excellent price point
This case is used for a portable PA system for my shows. I like the overall look of this case, and it does come with a good supply of rack screws and washers.I also like that there are rack rails in both the front AND back of the case, very handy for adding rear supports to heavier gear like amplifiers. (I'm using a QSC CX model that doesn't need the extra support.)I also like the use of seals in the front and back covers, those will help to keep dust and moisture out.Minor quibbles:The rack rails are not aligned well, only off by a little but still work. Some gear with tighter tolerance in the rack ear screw holes may not want to sit perfectly level in that case. My amp and mixer were able to be set level though. The latches are a bit fussy to engage, but seem of good quality. Time will tell how they really hold up.This case is a lot less expensive than a comparable SKB case, but overall seems as though it will be just as durable.Overall a great value and good investment to protect your gear.

Very sturdy and convenient!
This case is perfect for our Universal Audio Apollo 8Xp. They fit perfectly and there’s plenty of breathing room for both interfaces. Now I know they are safe when I am not using them.

Lightweight and well-built mixer
I have used this rack with my MR18 and power supply for over a year on many bands gigs and home rehearsals. I love this rack. It is lightweight, has a small footprint, is sturdy, and fits all my coiled cables, router, and iPad in the back.

Exactly as described. Great Case for light travel
The media could not be loaded. Exactly as described. Its light, flexible but not flimsy. I WOULD NOT FLY WITH THIS. But perfect for lighter travel and studio or band room use. Everything fit great. It came with screws that did not strip

Great rack, not so great handle!
We purchased this rack for our church a little over a year ago. I was/am happy with the overall quality. It's solidly made and the front and back lids attach with latches that ensure they won't come off accidentally while at the same time being easy to remove when needed. When I first saw the handle I thought to myself, "this seems flimsy". Sure enough just after a year (the warranty is for one year) the handle broke. The retractable part on one side where it slides into itself when closing came apart. The purpose of ordering this particular model was for the rolling capability. To give you an idea of how often it gets used... we currently rent a space in a civic center for our church and have to break everything down after each service. The rack is stored in a closet about 100ft from where it's setup. Twice a week it gets taken out and setup on a table and then after the service the reverse. So that's four trips a week. And this is all indoors on a hard, smooth floor... no bumps, etc. After checking Gator's website I found out even after the one year warranty runs out they will still supply parts. I requested ([...]) a new handle.I received this email within 30 minutes of requesting the replacement handle:------------------------------------------Hi Josh,I will be happy to ship this out to youThank you for using Gator Cases!------------------------------------------I'll update this review and let people know how it turned out.------------------------------------------UPDATE 4/29/2013Sorry for the delayed update. Anyway, I ended up receiving the replacement handle in less than a week. The old handle was riveted. A guy who attends my church offered to replace the handle because he had a rivet gun. He said it was pretty simple, but it did require removing all equipment from the case. The handle has been working fine so far. No signs of failure yet.
