EstesHi-Flier XL

This is such a nice rocket. It was a very fun build, nothing too complicated. Painted it up like the picture and it turned out great. I just love the way this rocket looks. Have done two successful launches and it flies like a dream. It went up straight as an arrow and the chute deployed perfectly. Floated down great with the plastic chute (I will be getting a better chute later). Nice looking, sleek rocket. Big enough to scratch that bigger rocket itch, and it goes way up.

This is a great rocket kit! In my younger days I upscaled the original Ninja rocket; this is basically the same thing, three fins and a nosecone. Flys great on D's and E's and is begging for a Cesaroni G powered motor if you have the guts!

Came missing two parts

The packaging was well done. The kit was in perfect condition when it arrived. This is one of my favorite kits. It flies great. I highly recommended it. Excellent value.

Relatively easy rocket to build, flies awesome on E motors. Recommend getting a nylon parachute, plastic isn't all that reliable.

I gave the Hi-Flier XL four stars because this was a gift for my nephew so I don't know how well it flies. He might be using it for a 4-H project. It looked well made unasembled and I have never had an issue with Estes products.
