I've used it for grinding dried herbs and it does a nice job. If you grind to a powder, just be aware that when you pull the lid, the dust tends to float out. not good when I did hot peppers lol. It's not very loud but given how short you actually run it, even if it was it wouldn't be a big deal. Pretty easy to clean.

This coffee grinder works great. It is very easy to use. The longer you hold the button down, the finer your coffee will be ground. I ground enough for 12 cups, and it ground that amount very easily. It is a good value for the money. I ground coffee that was frozen first and it stuck to the lid a little bit, so I would invest in a small brush(which I already had) to clean the residual coffee grounds from the container.

We make coffee nearly every single day. Our first purchase of this grinder lasted about 3 years before the wiring broke at the base from bending during unwrapping. The second purchase? Less than a year, same issue, even though we were extra careful when unwrapping it this time. Despite that fact, I am about to purchase this product for a 3rd time.The removable chamber makes it so much easier to not make a mess when pouring grounds into the filter, and makes clean up a breeze. I love that I could, in theory, use it for both coffee and spices with washes in between (I've never done it). The grind quality is pretty good (for drip coffee maker) and it works quickly, though is slightly loud. I like that the cord wraps up and is stored in the bottom, however a design improvement would be to move the hole that the wire comes out of slightly clockwise so that the cord is never bent backwards. (for my next one I will unscrew the extendable bottom and turn it myself, though the way it is designed you would have to complete an entire quarter turn so will only work if the cord is wrapped tightly enough. )Note: We only make 6 cups of coffee per pot, so filling the chamber to the top works well for us, however, if we have guests over we do need to refill and grind a second time to make a full pot.

Grinds quickly. Functions well. Simple operation. Nice looking. Seems durable. Washes easily. No bad smell.

It is hard to believe that an inexpensive blade coffee grinder could have so many great features. I have had several over the years, so lets go. 1. Very small footprint on the kitchen counter - about the size of a small drinking glass. 2. Super quiet. 3. Very fast - pulverizes coffee beans in a matter of seconds. 4. My favorite attribute - The grinding bowl lifts out, so you do not have to pick up the grinder to empty the ground coffee. 5. Also, the grinder bowl and lid are dishwasher safe - easy to keep clean. 6. You can see how fine of a grind through the transparent lid. 7. The cord storage locks the cord in place for the length - does not unravel like most cord storage appliances. Capacity: Being small, if you fill the bowl with beans, it makes enough ground coffee for 2 large mugs of strong coffee. Our carafe indicates 6, 5oz cups of water. Dumb! Why don't they mark carafes in 8oz real cups? If you want more, grind a second run. It only takes seconds.

Very solid grinder that works fantastically. Have had it a awhile now and it grinds well, easy to clean, and the cord wraps inside to help with storage.Highly recommend.

I love this. Grinds coffee beans quickly and finely. Easy to use, and small for counter-top storage (or store away in kitchen cabinet). Not expensive - well worth the purchase. Its durable, and easy clean-up. Would purchase again.
