One of the best laptop cooling pads.
Very light. The material is good quality and the design is well made with consideration for many important features a cooling pad needs to keep a laptop running smooth. The night hinders are easy to adjust and stay stable. The cooling pad is wide enough to easily accommodate a 18’ laptop. The fans run quiet but the higher cooling speeds do make noticeable noise. Nothing noticeable if you are wearing headphones. It works as expected and better. I am very happy with this cooling pad and I think it is worth the value.

Works but is LOUD
First things first, this thing works. It actually cools your laptop, unlike most other laptop coolers that just blow air at your laptop, this pushes air through your laptop. While it does provide significant cooling performance of 5 to 10 degrees, this comes at a significant cost. That cost being, this thing is LOUD.Even at the lower speeds, that do still provide significant cooling, it is louder than most laptops fans at full speed. The other thing to keep in mind is this requires vent holes on the underside of your laptop. It will not work on your macbook air. There needs to be a path for this to push air into your laptop and pass through the heatsinks. While this one does work, the sacrifices made in terms of user comfort when it comes to noise is a cost/benefit analysis you will need to make for yourself.

No plug
This would have been a really cool laptop cooler if it had a plug. I have no way to plug this thing in. It did not come with a plug.... It's huge though

5 stars depending on expectations
I don't game, but I am on my laptop for hours at a time for work. This cooling pad does its job as it is intended. The cons: It is a bit bulky. The foam piece that the laptop sits on, its cut to fit, but it doesn't exactly sit where it is intended perfectly. If you have your laptop on there, its fine, but you just have to make sure it is where it belongs each time you put the laptop on it. The fan is a bit loud but it is muffled once the laptop is on it and the foam piece does a lot to help cover the sound. Minor issues.Pros: It is a bit bulky, meaning the fan on it is quite large. You can easily adjust the speed on it by scrolling the roller right in front. Immediately, I noticed the air that is traveling through under the laptop, so its working right away. There are 2 hooks on the bottom to prevent your laptop from sliding off. It elevates your laptop a bit, so it brings it higher to your line of sight, so you aren't hunched over to look at your screen.Overall, if you are okay with the cons, it does a great job in moving air from under the laptop and its easy to control with the scroller and a screen that shows the fan speed. 5 stars for ease of use and moving lots of air.

Nice innovation
I've never seen one of these before and had no idea they existed. One thing I have noticed over the years is that laptops will get warm like any other computer. Mine sure does. I have heard that computers perform better when not so hot but I had no idea there was anything that could be done about it and so I ordered this.I now have my primary laptop, the one I use the most, mounted on top of this. I fastened everything together on my portable bedside table at an angle so it might be a little different than intended but it works quite well. My laptop is no longer warm or hot. I cant' tell you if this has affected performance as my laptop is a pretty good performing model already but I can tell you it runs cooler so I'm guessing at the very least it will last longer.I recommend this device for keeping your laptop cool.

MSI Cyborg 15 stays remarkably cool.
I have an MSI Cyborg 15 laptop that I use exclusively for all of my gaming, schoolwork, budgets, etc. Even though this laptop has been engineered with outstanding cooling capabilities, it would still get warm while processing quite a bit of task and online gaming. The Illano Cooling pad is a welcome remedy to this situation, as the laptop never slowed down, it would just get a little hot and run its fans over time to keep cool. The pros: I like the option of fan speed control. To that point, it has one big fan rather than several small ones that doesn't work against itself. The fan has an incredible amount of force and I rarely take it above 800 rpm, and even if I do it's not for more than a few minutes then I drop the speed down to 400-500 rpm. In the box, you receive replacement filters which is a big bonus for me.the cons: the only con, this thing is LOUD. obnoxiously loud. My mates can hear it roaring in the background as we game along.aside from that little tidbit, it's a great tool for the desk.

Pure performance
These types of laptop coolers with the sealed foam edge have been all the rage these days among the gaming laptop user community. It is MASSIVE, and also loud. If you are chasing pure performance and don't mind that, it definitely dropped my temperatures by several degrees.
