I bought this shampoo with my own funds.What I like about Il Salone Milano Professional Keratin Shampoo for Weakened and Damaged Hair: It did make my hair softer without using my usual pre blow drying products. My hair feels silky soft so it saves me one less product to buy and use on my hair. My hair has more lift after using it just once. My hair was easier to brush while wet. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered their Conditioner in the 33 ounce size plus the hair mask since I do color my monthly. It even made my color brighter. I have naturally curly hair that is thick plus graying and can get extremely frizzy in the hot summer heat so I bought this system in hopes of controlling my frizzy hair plus keeping my hair healthy even with coloring my hair. My hair feels just like I left the salon after having a treatment and blow out. I like this conditioner.What I disliked about this Shampoo: I lost some of the product in transit, not once but twice.

I have been using the same shampoo for a long time; probably 30 years? Anyway it is hard to get, and I didn’t really think there is anything too special about that shampoo. There are a gazillion choices, why limit myself to a hard-to-get brand simply because I don’t want to change? Time to get with the program… I also live in the subtropics where the UV index is often pegged at “11” (the maximum) for hours at a time; that UV takes its toll on you. Face, neck, exposed skin, and obviously your hair. I wanted something for UV damaged hair.I ordered the Keratin Shampoo and the corresponding Keratin Mask, so really the review of these needs to go together. My hair feels soft and smooth, not dry. I have recently tried a couple of other shampoos, but this is the one I stick with. No more shampoo orders, at least until this runs out and I reorder.

This is excellent shampoo. I used the same amount as my previous shampoo and it lathered a lot more, and it smells great too. I think the only potential negative is its sulfate ingredient, but that is a common thing in shampoos. Overall a great product and I highly recommend it.

I have a really hard time finding products that I can use. I have a lot of skin reactions to chemicals in regular shampoo, but in addition to that most "natural" shampoos contain natural ingredients I am allergic to. Then if I end up able to use one, it doesn't do me any favors. I like this shampoo a lot. I normally use Bondi Boost HG shampoo and conditioner. I used this shampoo with the Bondi Boost Conditioner and I would say that my hair had more volume than it normally does, mostly at the top. For reference I have very fine, waist length strawberry blonde hair. I did not have any reaction to this shampoo and my hair doesn't feel weighed down, greasy, or as if it has any residue 24 hours later. The only thing I don't love is that the almond smells like cookies. I would definitely buy this in the future and will also look into the conditioner.

I gave it one star due to waiting so long for product and once delivered the top broken and spilled conditioner all over the box.

I’ve always had incredibly fine hair. As I’ve aged it seems to be even more fine. I’ve found that regular hair products were no longer cutting the mustard. Even those volumizing hair products just left my hair unhappy and maybe weighted down.This product gave my hair an immediate change! It’s softer somehow but somewhat bouncier and doesn’t seem so fine in appearance as it did at my scalp.I’m a believer in this product. It’s not thickening my hair but it’s the right product to make the appearance of my hair much nicer.

Well, I didn’t mean to get shampoo with keratin but I’ve used it only a couple of times and can’t tell if it’s helping, but, my hair does feel smoother when I use it. Keratin is not good for your hair unless it’s been treated or damaged from straightening so you can only use it once or twice a week. I’ll update further down the line if it hurts instead of helps but no complaints yet.
